Kaitie stared at Jake. He liked her, too. They felt the same way about each other, making her heart soar. She gazed at him, trying to decide if she wanted to kiss him.
Before she could decide, Jake sat his coffee on the end table, leaned in, and pressed his lips to hers. The kiss was gentle and soft as it continued. Kaitie cupped his cheek as she leaned in toward him. She felt his hand on her knee and slide up her thigh as far as he could comfortably reach.
Kaitie pulled back to look at him. Jake's eyes had a lustful expression she had never seen before. She was not used to being the object of someone’s desire. Even her husband had never looked at her in this way.
“I don’t know if we should do this,” Kaitie whispered as she looked into his eyes, still cupping his cheek.
