I knew the second that Kayley was going to faint, I felt a sinking feeling in my gut. I turned quickly and caught her just in time. The crowd erupted into chaos as their new Luna lay in my arms. I felt her pulse was normal and her breathing was even. Hopefully it’s just a dizzy spell and she was just overwhelmed.
“I’m going to take her to the pack clinic.” I told my parents in a calm tone. I scooped up Kayley easily, cradling her in my arms. My parents called out to me, but I wasn’t listening, my focus was on Kayley.
