  When I woke up my mother was already up of course and I saw drowsy on her clock radio that it was already eleven in the day and I sat up tired and looked around when she had presented clothes, a pair of my old ones that were a soft purple longer sweatshirt and a pair of leggings in black when I looked gratefully at them and quickly pulled myself into her bathroom and shamelessly borrowed her things where I stood and lightly rinsed the water over me as I took her shampoo that smelled like roses and pulled it into my long hair and felt a sting in me as I thought of how Grant had done it to me, how his fingers had moved tenderly over my scalp as wonderfully as only could.   I turned around and swore low to him, the selfish bastard, I hoped he suffered just as much as I did when I rinsed
