"Anubis? Young lad?" I think I heard someone call out to me. My head throbbed badly as I slowly opened my eyes to meet Perseus and Kaleb staring at me in concern.
"He's awake!" Kaleb announced excitedly as he moved away a little; his voice sounded distant and my vision was still blurry. Perseus moved away too causing me to squint my eyes from the sudden brightness. I hissed as I shielded my eyes from the intense sun with the back of my palm.
"Water... I'm thirsty. Water..." was all I could say as my voice trailed off abruptly. I was exhausted and my body was in severe pains.
