Hotel Swing Parties
Many cities have swing parties at local hotels. They are sometimes called socials. Generally, these dances are held once a month, but the timing can vary to suit the city. These are organized by some industrious swingers to provide a place to meet other couples or as a business to make money. The set-up is about the same for all of these parties. They rent a big room in a hotel, set up some food, and hire a DJ for dancing. There can be a bar from the hotel selling drinks, or it may be a BYOB operations.
