Liana returns to her house after helping Ethan finish the cake Roman bought.
Because honestly, the cake was too sweet for Ethan. And obviously, Roman bought a cake that his children liked. He never knew how sweet that cake was.
This time Ethan excused the cake being too sweet because that old man had never eaten cake either, so he didn't really know what should a cake taste like.
But if he could, Ethan wanted him to give him something more savory and salty. Ethan also liked spicy food.
"But I think you said you liked sweets, Ethan? But I forget when that was."
Hopefully, that old man will buy him fried chicken or grilled pork. It's his favorite.
"I never said that."
Then a funny thing happened when Liana had just returned home around nine o'clock at night, at the same time Roman's car was about to go into the garage.
Ethan saw from his window that that old man looked disheveled and sluggish, and his hair was chaotic. It seemed like Guen railed at him for an hour or even more.
Liana also revealed that they had dinner together. After that, that old man staggered to his room, only to come out a second later and ask Odette if anyone perhaps had come into his room this afternoon and taken something that didn't belong to them.
Liana, who heard their conversation from inside her room, decided to go out and help Odette. Liana said that maybe he had forgotten where he put that thing and would find it soon.
He looked exhausted and finally went down to his own room and didn't ask much.
Then Ethan told her that it looked like Guen had just railed at him. Liana was also shocked at how much he knew about Guen. Ethan proudly responded that he managed to find Guen's cafe when that old man didn't want to tell him where it was.
How incredible that was, Ethan. You're like a secret FBI agent. Can you share your secret with me?
Ethan giggled, and the secret was quite simple; some friends have a lot of free time for you, even during their busy hours.
Liana also told him about Guen and Odette. Long before she decided to own a cafe. Precisely when she and Odette were still in high school.
It turns out that Guen once found Odette on a dating site, but she wrote on her profile that she was only interested in girls.
At that time, Guen directly told Roman about this, and Roman also talked to Liana before. Finally, the three of them met to discuss this.
Roman wasn't mad at that time, which was bizarre. He asked Odette to be careful when talking to strangers on the dating site.
Liana also thought that Odette could joke about Ethan and their father because of that. Perhaps she already had a sense that something Liana didn't realize was going on between Ethan and Roman.
Odette even immediately agreed to partake in discovering their mother's affair and, if possible, kick her out of the house so that Ethan could move with them.
Ethan couldn't help but laugh and finally asked Liana to tell Odette that the goal of this coalition was only to prove Mrs. Pearson's affair.
Don't worry, she's just kidding!
Ethan laughed and lay down on his bed. He even sent a photo to Liana, a picture of him hugging the pillow with a text attached to it.
I'm going to sleep, goodbye.
Then she sends a photo of her, Odette, even Miles and Niall, who don't know anything, and a text with it. Ethan believes it was written by Odette.
Good night mommy. Sleep well.

Ethan took the vegetables out of his lunchbox.
Incidentally, Ethan didn't have too many meetings today because his father told Ethan to stay at the office and work on the documents that were starting to pile upon his father's desk.
Ethan could even stretch his legs and play games for a while, and the funny thing was Dante happened to be playing the same games, and finally, a random battle took place.
Finally, break time arrived, but his father had not yet come out of the meeting room, and Ethan decided to visit Roman in his office without asking his father's permission.
So here is Ethan, parked his car in the basement, and went up to the lobby.
He walked over with the lunch box he was carrying on his left, patiently waiting in line to speak to the receptionist.
"Good afternoon, is there anything I can help you, sir?" said the receptionist, a young woman in her early 20s.
Ethan smiled. "I want to see Mr. Pearson."
The young woman looked surprised. "Have you booked an appointment with him?"
"I haven't, but he definitely allowed me to meet him. I know him."
The woman smiled doubtfully. "Oh, then may I know your name?"
"Ethan," he said. "Oakland. Ethan Oakland."
Ethan saw that the woman had dialed a number. Ethan couldn't hear what she was saying. Her voice was too soft and weak compared to the crowd around them.
But when she put down the phone, Ethan widened his eyes and hoped to hear some good news.
"Okay, Mr. Oakland. Take the elevator over there and go to the thirtieth floor. Tell the security guard in front of the elevator that you want to see Mr. Pearson, and he'll walk you to his room. Mr. Pearson also asks you to go straight into his room. He forbids you to go to another room. The bathroom is next to his desk. He also asks you not to touch or move or replace anything in his room, don't spill anything, don't play noisy music, don't smoke if you smoke, and if possible, don't turn on the television. If you don't like the room's smell, just turn off the diffuser. Don't light his aromatherapy candle when he's not there. Do not nudge the cactus on the table. And lastly, Mr. Pearson begs you to sit peacefully on the couch until he returns to his room. Do you understand?"
For anyone who is confused by the instructions given to Ethan. Simply, Ethan had to think like that old man.
So, after enjoying the city view from the transparent glass elevator, meeting the security guard, and being guided into Roman's room. Ethan decided to pass by the couch and took a seat at Roman's desk.
Roman's room is quite large. He has a couch in the middle of the room and television, he even has a small refrigerator, and the bathroom is to the right of where he is sitting. Don't forget about the painting hanging on his wall. It must be his work.
The chair Ethan sat in was cold and soft, and he had almost lost his height on the back of the chair. This chair also swiveled in any direction, so Ethan decided to turn it toward the window behind him.
Ethan leaned back in his chair, looking at how burning the sun was outside. After getting bored of the view, he watched the football match he missed earlier this morning.
Until finally, he heard the sound of the door opening.
"I want the document to be on my desk this afternoon. Prepare the room for a meeting at two in the afternoon. Then I want you to send your weekly report as soon as possible, and we will discuss it on Saturday. If there are no questions, please get out of my sight immediately."
Then, there was the sound of the door closing. Ethan turned from his chair and found Roman, with his laptop and glasses perched on his face.
His eyes squinted at Ethan. "What do you want?"
Ethan frowned as he looked at Roman, who walked over to him while placing his laptop on his desk, his hands moving through several documents with a wrinkle on his forehead.
Ethan got up and stood next to Roman. He placed his lunch box right next to the document he was sorting through. "I want to have lunch with you, can't I?"
Roman was silent, then he smiled and turned his gaze to Ethan.
"Of course, you can," Roman said and grabbed Ethan's hand. "I will ask the security guard in front of the elevator to put this document on my secretary's desk. After that, we will have lunch here. You can sit on the couch while waiting for me."
Ethan glanced at his arm, nodding his head. Then Roman went back to sorting the documents while Ethan returned to his seat at Roman's desk.
Roman turned and walked towards the door. "I said to sit on the couch. Are you deaf?"
Ethan just replied with a giggle. Finally, Roman went out of his room, and he returned alone.
However, Ethan was startled by his phone ringing crazily.
WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO ME?
YOU LITTLE BRAT @Ethan Oakland
Then he attached a photo of Mrs. Pearson, and her friends were waiting at the entrance of the domestic flight. In the next photo, more people arrive, and the arrogant Seamus is also there. The last one is a video where they all get onto the entrance of the domestic flight.
PLEASE.
FOR GOD SHAKE, WHAT THE FU*K YOU'RE DOING THERE, DUKE?
I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.
He didn't care about that cranky old man's rules anymore. Ethan laughed until his face turned red.
After a dozen laughing emojis and curse words, Duke finally said he picked up his cousin with his sister. When he had just parked the car and was waiting at the exit for the domestic flight, he accidentally passed Mrs. Pearson, who was dragging her bag, then stopped in front of the entrance of the domestic flight.
Duke actually wanted to be angry, but on the other hand, he couldn't get mad just yet and missed the opportunity to catch this moment. So after Duke took two photos and a video, and when Mrs. Pearson was out of his sight. Duke decided to take his anger out on their group chat.
And finally, as a thank you, Ethan would ask his father to meet with some of their company's clients at Duke's cafe, and the event would be all day long, so Duke should close his cafe for that day.
Duke laughed. Actually, Ethan didn't need to do that, but Duke agreed and asked Ethan to tell him about his father's decision, so he could prepare his cafe.
Meanwhile, Roman has returned with his lunch box.
"Your laughter can be heard all the way to the lobby," he grumbled as he sat across from Ethan.
"Did you go all the way to the lobby?"
Roman opens his lunch box, and Ethan is immediately greeted with greens, reminding him of the countryside; no matter how far you look, you can only see green trees.
Ethan also opened his lunch box. Today's menu is steak and fries. Ethan took a fork and supported his cheek with his other hand, pushing his cheek against his eye.
Ethan kicked Roman's leg slowly. It suddenly made Roman peek at him for a moment. "How long is your break time?"
Roman eats his broccoli. "It's actually one in the afternoon, but I have something to do, so I'll be in this room until I have to leave for a meeting at two in the afternoon."
"I see," said Ethan as he stabbed a piece of steak and ate it, then he turned his gaze back to Roman.
"By the way, where are your vegetables?"
Ethan pointed at Roman with a steak stuck in his fork. "For your information, I don't eat veggies. So you don't have to-"
Ethan widened his eyes as Roman casually spilled a spoonful of vegetables on top of his steak.
"How dare you, old man!"
But Roman, who felt guiltless, just kept on chewing these green vegetables. "Just eat it, don't complain too much."
Ethan, who didn't want to lose, also stabbed a steak and two French fries. He dropped it on the top of Roman's vegetables.
Roman laughed. "Hey, take it again. I don't eat that."
"Just eat it, don't complain too much," Ethan mocked him.
