"The Cemetery" A Story of the haunted Cemetery and the eerie forest.

Lucy had always been fascinated by the cemetery that was located just a few steps away from her house. As a young girl, she often spent her afternoons wandering amongst the tombstones and reading the names of the long-deceased. However, as she grew older, the cemetery started to fill her with a sense of unease. One day, Lucy's mother Emily asked her to look after her baby brother, Alfie, while she went out to run some errands. Lucy, always eager to prove her responsibility, agreed without hesitation. However, as soon as Emily left, strange things began to happen. Lucy heard strange noises coming from the cemetery behind their house, and she swore she saw a little girl darting between the tombstones. When she went to investigate, she found nothing but the dense forest that loomed behind the cemetery. That night, George, Lucy's father, came home late from a surgery at the hospital. He was exhausted and went straight to bed. However, Lucy was unable to sleep. The noises from the cemetery continued, and she could hear strange whispers coming from outside her window. She crept out of bed and peeked through the curtains. What she saw chilled her to the bone. There, standing still near the cemetery, was the Priest from the nearby church who had gone missing a week before. He looked pale and disoriented, and he seemed to be staring directly at her. She quickly closed the curtains and retreated to her bed, too afraid to make a sound. The next morning, Lucy confided in her boyfriend Jaden about what had happened. Jaden, who had always been fascinated by the paranormal, decided to investigate the cemetery with her. As they made their way through the tombstones, they suddenly heard a blood-curdling scream. They ran towards the sound and found the little girl which Lucy had seen before, lying on the ground, covered in scratches. Jaden immediately called for an ambulance, and the girl was rushed to the hospital. While they waited for news, Lucy and Jaden decided to explore the forest behind the cemetery. They soon came across a hidden path that led them to an abandoned house. Inside, they found a dark and musty room, and in the corner, they saw something that made their blood run cold. There, sitting in the corner of the room, was Jaden's bedridden mother, who was in coma since years. She looked up at them with a vacant stare and whispered, "I've been waiting for you".
