VALENTINA’S POV

I woke up, even before the alarm could ring. I checked the time and it was half-past 3.00 a.m. I couldn’t sleep. I smiled looking at Ares’s swollen lips. It was all because of the make-out session we had before falling asleep. My hand almost reached out to trace his lip but I refrained because I didn’t want to wake him up.
I got out of bed and just freshened up a little. I walked out of the room and towards the kitchen. I drank some water and one of the maids strolled in. As soon as she looked at me, she gave me a bow, greeting me.
“Did you need something, Luna Queen?” She asked and I shook my head. I saw her dress and realised that she was in her maid outfit.
“Does everyone come in this early?” I asked without answering her and she shook her head.
