Leaving Valentina behind was one of the hardest decisions I had to take in my life. As the car left the premises, I couldn’t stop but missed her terribly.
Her small frame that fit into mine perfectly, her small hands that held my bigger one, her beautiful laugh that made my day and her, all of her, I missed.
I strengthened myself and steeled my heart. I was in no position to be disheartened over leaving my mate behind. I had to think like a King and ponder over various ways to protect the packs from the upcoming attack.
