Chapter 27.

All of them are decided to stay in Alice and Dawin's house, when Jeremy called his and Alice's mother, Jia didn't think twice and drove towards Alice and Dawin's house.

Alice was in the living room, along with the others, even though it's already midnight, Lucas still called his brother in law, Marcus suarez that is the chief general of South Korea's government.

He decided not to call the police rather his brother in law, as he knows Mae will get mad if Lucas will not call Marcus as this is not just a mere problem but a this case if about their grandson and both wanted the best taskforce to solve this and save Brian instantly.

Oliver was not with them at the moment as he was still in the place where the incident happen, he was busy checking the other establishments if they have CCTVs so they can trace Alice's father whereabouts.

The roads which contains CCTVs in there area, Oliver also visited the main office for it. But unfortunately Alice's father did work smooth on k********g Brian.

"Alice?!" That was Jiacs first word when she entered the house, when she finally found Alice in the couch, still sniffling, she immediately hug her tightly as she can.

"Don't worry, we will get Brian back okay?!" Jia keeps rubbing Alice's back but Alice was nowhere calm.

Jia then looked at the others.

"Who the hell kidnap my grandson?!" She shouted.

Mae went towards her and kneel infront of her as Jia was sitting also in the couch.

"Jia, please don't be furious but," Mae didn't finish her sentence

when Dawin cut her off.

"Auntie, your bastard ex husband s***h Alice and Jeremy a father kidn*pped Brian."

All of them gasps except Jia, not by the revelation as they already know it but the way Dawin said it.

"Dawin!" Lucas shouted.

"W-what? M-michael?" Jia gulps heavily.

Alice looked at her and nodded her head, Jia loosens her grip towards Alice.

"Mom, please don't go anywhere," Alice says pleadingly.

"Mom? Dad, why is he like this?" Jeremy asks.

Jia didn't said anything. But she keeps staring at Alice.

Dawin was about to speak again, when suddenly Alice's phone rings. All of them got startled by it, and Alice grab her phone but she froze immediately when she saw the caller i.d.

"Why? What happened, who Is it?" Dawin instantly asks.

"D-dad." Alice said.

Dawin widen his eyes, while Jin instantly went near her.

"Answer it Alice, I'm gonna record it and will also track his location."

Alice absentmindedly nodded, but Dawin goes at her back and lean on the couch.

"Don't worry, I'm here," he whispers.

Alice became relief by that and answered the phone afterwards.

"Oh, you finally answered my lovely daughter," Jeremy clench his fist while listening at the phone as Alice did loud speaker it.

"Fucktard!" He whispered yelled, Cassy was beside him and instantly comforted Jeremy.

"D-dad, where Is my son, please give him back to me!" Alice started crying and Dawin soothingly rubs her back.

"Yeah, I'll give him back to you as I don't want this trash, specially when he cries, like can I just choke him? He's so loud and annoying," Michael said while laughing.

Dawin clenched his fist, meanwhile Lucas was thinking a hundred ways on how to kill that bastard Michale. How dare he kidnap his grandchild.

"Dad please tell me what you want, I'll give it to you but please my child, Brian! He's just a child, and he is your grandson."

"No,no, he's not, he's not even your your real son, more like adopted," he laughs and continued. "Well I want your money, properties, and also the Marquez's fortune."

All of them halts and widen their eyes.

"What the?!" Mae said but Lucas instantly covered her mouth.

"Dad, what are you saying?!"

"Well it really looks like you don't want to give those, so instead of talking more now, well let's end this call and also say good bye to your lovely or more like annoying child."

Alice widen her eyes and instantly shouted, "no! Okay, okay, I'll give you those, just please give me back my son, safe and sound!"

Alice was hesitating at first to say those words but Dawin whispered something to her that makes her agree on his dad's words.

"Well great, I will text you the location and also same as others, don't come with anyone! If I saw you bringing police or any of your stupid family members, then better pray that nothing will happen to your dipshit son!"

"Don't call him that!" But Michael didn't mind her words as he already ended the call.

The main door suddenly opened and all of them looked at the person who just opened the door, revealing Oliver and behind him is Marcus, who was wearing night clothes.

Mae sigh, while Lucas wants to laugh but he knows this is not the perfect time to do that.

"Uncle," Dawin says while walking towards Marcus, patting his shoulder at the same time.

"Now what's your plan?" Marcus said, not beating the bush anymore.

"I already traced the location a while ago and maybe if you all want we can do it now," Jin said hesitantly.

"What do you mean now?" Lisa asks.

"I mean, tracing Michael's location was easy and it was outside Seoul, and I know Alice and Dawin won't wait for tomorrow anymore."

"Okay, I get it, son can you get me a more casual clothes? I'll call my team at the same time and we'll go to the place Jin traced," Marcus said. Mae sigh in relief that her brother agreed to do the task instantly but she knows, when it comes to family, Marcus will not think twice.

Dawin nodded and went upstairs, Alice also followed him as she will come with them but first she needs to talk to Dawin.

Dawin entered his room without closing the door so Alice took the opportunity to get inside also.

"Dawin?"

Dawin was startled but when he saw Alice distressed face, he sigh.

He first grab the clothes and put it into the cupboard. After that he closed the door and sat on the bed, patting the space beside him, so Alice will sit there.

Alice complied and directly stared at Dawin.

"Win, we'll get our son right?" Alice pleadingly asks.

"Of course, we'll get Brian, and before the morning comes, Brian will be in our arms again, I promise that."

"I don't know what will happen next, I don't know why dad was doing this, I really thought the day will come that my family will reunite again but after I found out everything that he have done, my last hope vanished instantly."

"Alice, I don't know how to say this but," Dawin the sigh and looked at Alice. "Your father is a bullshit human."

Alice looked at him for sometime and she suddenly smiled a little.

"Yeah, he really is, that I want to see him rotten in jail."

Dawin didn't know where the courage came from but he hugged Alice tightly.

Both were not saying anything but both knows they needed this so much.

Jeremy, Cassy, Mrs. Anderson, Mae, and Lisa was left in the house if Alice and Dawin. While the remaining others started their journey going to the outside border of Seoul.

Alice, Dawin, Jin, Oliver, and Lucas was in one car while the chief general was with his team.

Their journey going to their destination was fast as all of the cars we're over speeding, well if it was day it would not be okay as there will be other cars but it's already 2 a.m now and it was now rare to see cars in the streets.

The police vehicles turn off their sirens as hey want to work silently.

Dawin was driving the car, meanwhile Jin who was seating at the back was busy in his laptop, luckily he really confirmed that Lucas was staying in a old ancestral house and obviously it is were also they kept Brian.

After good 1 hour they are now nearing the house but they stopped in a distance and parked their cars there.

The police walks in first followed by Alice, Dawin and others.

The lights in the ancestral house was still open, which means the people inside is still awake.

After they reached the house all of them noticed, there were no guards at all.

"I thought he is a right hand in a g**g, why is there no guards at all?" Jin whispers to Oliver.

Oliver also looked at him in confusion but both decided to shut up when Lucas eyed them.

Dawin was in the back of Alice and when he saw Alice trembling a little, he grab her by her cloth.

Dawin holds Alice waist and Alice didn't questioned him.

When the police starts to count until they opened the door, Alice was praying Internally to make Brian safe.

A loud bang was heard when Marcus who was leading everything, opened the door, Marcus was shocked on what he saw as Michael was just sitting on the couch if the living room, kissing a girl, and Brian was on the floor, sleeping while his hands were tied tightly, but he didn't said anything, rather run towards Michael and pushed him instantly in the floor.

Michael was shocked from the sudden attack that's why he didn't move instantly. But unlucky for him when Marcus was pro enough to cuff his hands without him noticing.

The others also went inside and Dawin and Alice froze, be side the girl who was kissing Michael was no other than Dawin's fling 2 years ago, the model Kiara, which was Alice will make sure that she will ruin Kiara for doing all of this.

But Alice and Dawin instantly ran towards Brian who woke up by the noise and started to cry again.

A police officer went towards them while bringing a scissor and cut the rope that was tied around Brian's little wrist.

Dawin was raging when he saw Brian a wrist, and without any thoughts, he ran towards Michael and fastly Punched him, the police drag him away from Michael before he kills him.

Kiara was also arrested and now all of them are outside in the house.

Michael was getting dragged by the police officers when his evilness glint again when he saw g*n which was near him, so without any thoughts he grab it and pointed towards Alice.

The others saw it and widen their eyes but before they could move, Michael already pressed the g*n, a loud bang was heard in the neighborhood but Alice was not shot.

Rather it was Dawin who was still shielding Alice.

Alice's eyes widen in horror when blood was coming out from Dawin's mouth.

"Win?!" Alice shouted.

Lucas saw all black when he saw his son getting shot, he March towards Michael and punch him straight to the face painfully.

Oliver stopped him but Lucas was still punching the bastard.

"Uncle please stop, Dawin needs to go to the hospital!"

Lucas came back from his senses and looked at Alice and Dawin.

"Dad! Please the car! Please!"

All the time Jin was standing while frozen, he saw everything in front of his eyes and when he came back from his black thoughts, he run towards Michael and kick his crotch, Michael groaned in pain and hold his lower part but Jin was still not yet done.

He kicked Michael face and next kick his abdomen, all the kick was all painful resulted to Michael to pass out immediately.

While Marcus on the other hand was shocked to see Jin in this state.

Jin was stopped by the officers and on the other hand, Lucas was carrying his son towards the car while Oliver and Alice was following him while Alice was carrying Brian.

"Faster, Oliver drive the car!"

Lucas went at the back seat while Jin runs towards them and sat at the passenger seat, Oliver in the driver's seat and Alice was beside Lucas.

"D-dad I want to sleep," Dawin whispers but all of them heard him clearly.

"No! Don't close your eyes! Never!" Alice shouted while holding Dawin's hands tightly.

But before Dawin could reply, his hold towards Alice loosen and at the same he turns unconscious.

"Dawin!"
