Chapter 4

Third Person's POV

All the Marquez Family is now in a one room having the hard time of their lives.

Seeing there grandpa, or Dad in a hospital bed trying to breath properly but always fail, his eyes are not the same as before always smiling brightly.

But all of them in the room Except pia didn't know that on the outside of the room Stood Alice crying silently, She and Grandpa was really close before when she and Dawin became a couple grandpa was there supporting them to the core but now she sees grandpa there having a life and death situation us really hard for her to see.

All she wants was to there and hug grandpa.

Back to the family who is in the room.

Now they were really crying including Dawin but he knows that for now is not the time to be called as a cold person.

He loves his grandpa to the core they sometimes along with Pia are partners in crime, all the childhood memories with their grandpa are like a sudden flashback for them.

"L-Lucas," his grandpa suddenly said

"Yes dad"

"Take this and read it when I'm gone," He suddenly holds a small white envelope and he gave it to Lucas.

"No dad please don't leave us," lucas said while sobbing hardly.

"I can't and I'm very tired and weak you know t-this time will come."

"I love you all," and with that the monitar suddenly was heard and only a straight line can be seen.

"G-grandpa!" Pia shouts.

"No no please come back no don't leave us," they were all a crying mess included Alice who is outside the door listening.

They lost a person who is very important to them but life must goes on.

"Mr. Gabriel Marquez was a great leader, he build his own empire using his own blood, sweat and tears he was very professional on making decisions and he was greatly blessed by loving Family, he may be not with us any more but in our hearts you will never be forgotten."

People are now mourning about the sudden death of Mr. Gabriel Marquez, on the other side his family was trying their best to accept the fact that Mr. Gabriel was gone, Dawin right now was trying his best to be strong but he can't, he lost his Grandfather who loves him the most.

Right now he was busy along with his family preparing the funeral it was hard considering dawin has also responsibilities in their Company but luckily Pia insisted that she and their parents will take care about the funeral and he should also take care of himself.

But Dawin is stubborn he works late at night also going in to the funeral of his grandpa, Without knowing there is certain someone that was worried sick for him.

Alice was also a mess, she was worried sick for Dawin and also sad about the death of Mr. Gabriel

For alice he was a great grandpa before when she and dawin was still in a relationship he was very supportive and alice really felt the love from a Grandfather by him.

Alice's POV

I was worried sick for Dawin according to My assistant he saw dawin on the other day in MQ Incorporation looks so lost and here i am in my room, I decided to call Pia.

"Pia how are you?"

"Ali, i'm fine, actually trying .....but i'm also worried for dawin he's been like this for days and i don't know what to do anymore."

"What do you mean Pia?"

"He works late at night and after that he goes directly to where the funeral held mom and dad was also worried about him."

I remember before times like this when he was so stressed I

always cook his favorite dish...Well what if I'll cook him his favorite beef steak.

"Um pia can I ask you a favor?"

"Yes of course what is it?"

"I'll cook dawin his favorite dish, and I'll drop it to your house and please give it to him and when he ask where does it come from, just tell him you tried to cook something for him....can you please?"

"Of course Ali, I'll be glad to help and, thank you because all this years you still care for him."

"Of course. And thank you again I need to hung up now my manager was here already."

"Okay,okay bye Alice."

"Cassy come in."

"Alice i just want to remind you that there's no schedule for today and I know you want to go there so it's okay."

"Oh okay, but first I'll go to grocery store and buy some stuff"

"Hm it's okay and be careful be ware of stalkers and I'll go now there's an event going on in the mall and I kinda wanted to go there."

"Of course..."

I directly go to my bathroom that was connected in my room and take a fast shower and after that I change in to my clothes and get my wallet, phone and car keys,

When i walked out i was greeted by the guard and of course I greeted back.

Now i'm here inside my car and when I look outside I can really tell today has a great weather My apartment is a little far from the main city because I lived in a modern, expensive apartment complex here in South Korea, the Hera Hill.

Many celebrities also lives here but I rarely socialize with them,not also celebrities but I also heard there is a CEO of a big company lives here, but I really don't know who, well i really don't care.

I'm now in a grocery store and I wear my mask and for now I was wearing a simple outfit well just a leggings and a sweatshirt, there's no need to be fancy by the way.

Now I'm going to meat section and while I was walking there i saw a man who looks like Dawin, wait what?!

I directly hide on the nearest shelf because I'm so sure that is Dawin, what the hell us he doing here.

He's now going in to the cashier, I'm so sure I look like a weirdo now..... finally he goes out I don't even realize that I was holding my breath for the entire time.

Now i'm back to my Apartment and I change my clothes directly and go to the kitchen, I started slicing the ingredients and then after that I open the stove and started cooking there.

I'm done packing the foods on a tupperware and I decided to call Pia to inform her that i'll be going in her house to give her this foods.

"Hello Alice?"

"Pia hi, i just want to tell you that I will drop by in your house and then give this foods to you, and by the way there's also for you and for uncle and auntie."

"Wow thank you Ali and by the way It's better if you come here already because dawin just called me and inform me that he will be going here, so it's better if you come here early for him not to see you."

"Your great at rapping and ok I'll get going now bye!"

I already drop by the foods that I've cook to Pia's House,luckily i didn't saw dawin.

Now i'm going to My Entertainment company because my Manager just called me and informed me that there was a problem and I need to be there as soon as possible.

After 30 minutes i'm finally here in the company and i just entered the lobby and i decided to call Cassy.

"Cassy where are you now?"

"Ali come here in the meeting room we are already waiting for you."

"Okay got it, gotta hung up now bye!"

I take the elevator and luckily there's no one on it.

Now i'm in 15th floor were the meeting room was located and i walk through the hallway and smile to some people who recognizes me.

I open the wooden door and i was greeted by Man who is Facing in the front,

"Who is he?" I whispered to my manager.

"That is Mr. Kim the director of MQ Incorporations."

What the actual hell?!

"Oh here she is" I was snapped back from my thoughts when Mr.Kim suddenly talks, well He's younger than I thought maybe just the same age as mine.

"Well i would like to introduce my self i am Mr. Kim Oliver the director of MQ Incorporation."

He then gestured me to shake hands with him which I hesitantly accepted, well who would be glad to shake hands with him if first, He was so familiar that i can really tell I know him from the past. Second, he works for dawin what if he knows my real name.

"Um Miss Ac?"

"Oh yes yes by the way I'm Ac which you already know."

We decided to sit already because now I'm lazy to stand up knowing I'm at risk right now.

"I know this was so sudden to meet you miss Ac along side with your CEO and your manager and let's go straight to the point."

I'm hella nervous for anything that he will said now,

"We want you to be our model in Our new clothing line called

Quez Wear," and he was also smiling, weird.

"Um okay i guess,"I laugh sheepishly, well that was an akward answer.

"W-what?" Mr.Kim asked hesitantly.

"Oh she means she'll accept it, and it's good because it's been a while for her to do modeling," My CEO said to Mr. Kim.

"And to be honest i'm not actually the person who should be here."

"What do you mean Mr.Kim?" The 3 of us asked while me and my manager was panicking a little because maybe it was him that should be here.

"My best friend or let's just say The CEO should be here instead of me, and to inform you he doesn't even know the face of the new model all he just said to me that the Quez wear needed a model or endorser and he trusted me to do this things."

"Well it's okay at least were you have your new endorser."

"Yeah and the contract would be signed maybe in the next few days because the CEO should be present in time of signing-

But Me and my Manager cut him off.

"What! The CEO!"

Well he was weirded by us but he answered with out hesitation again

"Yes of course, do you have any problem on it?"

"Of course not well maybe were done here because i was also busy you know" I needed to lie and to leave here fastly i needed to think with my manager how will we do this s**t.

"Okay i'm also be having an another meeting," he stands up and bow to us and we also bowed back to him.

Now where outside in the meeting room when.

"Miss Ac?"

I look in my back to see Mr.Kim looking at me with a serious face

Oh hell no I'm doomed.

"Can we talk privately please?"

"Oh o-okay" what the, i should not be shuttering it's a stupid thing to do for me.

We decided to talk in the Company's park because it was peaceful out here.

"Alice."

I froze on the spot when he suddenly called me by my real name.

"You don't remember me i guess?.....it's me Oliver, dawin's Best friend who became your friend also."

O-o-oliver the one who supports Me and Dawin the most? now I-i remember him, he was my best friend why did in the earth i forgot him.

Third Person's POV

Without saying anything Alice Throws herself to Oliver and oliver who is beyond shock, processed everything and hug her back.

"I-i-m sorry Oli, i was so depressed that i forgot the people around me" Alice said while still sobbing

"Shh,shh,shh it's okay, it's okay at least now your back"

Alice broke the hug and stare at Oliver.

"He hates me now."

"No, of course not but i know he was hurt."

"Did you, you know talk about me?" Alice asked hesitantly

"Well in the first year when you were gone when he was so depressed that all the agents who he knows tried to find you but of course they failed."

Alice was beyond shock when she discover how Dawin tries to find him by using agents, she was guilty to the core, for now she really knows that Dawin hates her now.

But then oliver continued, " but after that he never say your name again and that's when we understand he was tired, hurt of finding you so we also decided to stop mentioning your name."

Alice was now a sobbing mess.

The love of her life tried to find her but all she did was hide and always getting scared.

Truth to be told Alice and Dawin's love story was a tragic, yes they surely love each other but sometimes loving us not easy as it was, when we love someone we should accept the fact that it was never been easy and of course hardships are always there waiting to come in the right time.

"Well let's not talk about that anymore Ali."

"Yes your right it was the past by the way," she smiles sadly because of it.

Oliver noticed it and decided to change the topic.

"Did you two met already," Alice tilted his head confusingly

"Um no? I'm afraid he'll get mad."

But instead Oliver smiles.

"You're always an i***t i mean you and Lisa did you two saw each other already?"

But suddenly Alice gasp and slap Oliver's Shoulder

"What was that for?!"

"I didn't....for the past 5 years I didn't oh my gosh before I thought dawin was the only person who will get mad to me now there's also Lisa what the f**k!" And again Alice slaps Oliver's shoulder.

"Of course you didn't meet her, if you met her already I'm sure she'll tell me right away," oliver mumbles but Unfortunately Alice heard it.

"Wait as long as I remember, before you were both a couple also so what happened now?"

But instead of answering Oliver suddenly smirks.

"Your always weird."

"She's now my wife,"Oliver said smugly.

"What!" While slapping Oliver's shoulder again.

"Ok that's enough you slapping me us not good anymore come on let me slap you back,"

"No,no,no--," and Alice suddenly runs with Oliver who was following behind.

"Who is she? Tsk. How dare you, you are already married but you still have the guts to cheat on lisa," a man said while staring at Ac and Oliver who was running and fooling around the park.

Third Person's POV

Alice was now in her Apartment and she was in her room alone, contemplating if she will go to the Funeral or not.

But when she remembers everything from the past on how Mr. Gabriel treated her kindly she wants to cry, everything that happened now was so sudden for her because she doesn't even seen him personally in this 5 years all she did was watching them from afar.

Her problem is Dawin, how will in the earth could he avoid dawin it's not like she will turn to invisible when she will decided to go there...

Minutes passed she finally decided to go there because she knows it'll be the last time and she will just ask Pia if dawin will be there on the time she'll go there.

She decided to go there in evening because on the upcoming days she knows she'll get busy especially now that she agreed on becoming the endorser of Quez wear.

Speaking of Quez Wear, Alice was having a hard time because there is a big possibility that dawin will be there in the contract signing, of course he'll be there he's the CEO what would you think. Alice thought.

Finally it's now evening and Alice decided to call Pia and ask her if dawin will be there or not.

"Hello Pia."

"Oh hello Ali, how are you?"

"I'm fine, but i called you because I want to ask something."

"Well what is it?"

"Is dawin still in work? Cause i'm planning to go in your Grandpa's funeral and it's better if i'll be not seeing him"

"Don't worry, dawin just called me and informed me that maybe he will just come here tomorrow because he's very busy especially now that the company will be having a new clothing brand."

"Well that was good to hear and maybe i'll be arriving there for 30 minutes."

"Okay,okay just call me when your here already. Bye alice."

"Bye."

Alice sighed in release when she discover that Dawin will not be going there for tonight, atleast she'll be having a time to talk to others,

Or so she thought...

Alice was now outside her Apartment and now inside her car and just fixing her things that was in the passenger seat, when she was done she faces the front and she froze on her actions.

Because in front of her apartment there was a man who just got outside in his car and was talking to someone in his phone well he was facing in the back so Alice can't really see his face but for her the man was so familiar.

But she just shrugged it off because maybe he's not him, Why on earth he will be doing here because as long as she knows dawin doesn't like living in expensive house or apartments.

But little does she knows, the Man earlier was really Dawin who just got back from work and was talking to his mom on the phone...

Finally Alice arrived in the Funeral and before she goes out in the car she first put her mask and black cap just in case people will recognize her, it better to be ready than not.

There was a lot of people where the funeral held and she was trying her best not to be recognize easily, it doesn't take long when she finally entered the hall were the funeral held and inside was not the same as outside, here was more quieter and only Close to the family were here.

Alice takes off his mask and tried to find Pia and luckily she saw her near the coffee machine talking to a girl while a man was rubbing her back gently, Maybe the girl was crying, Alice thought.

Alice comes near Pia and she decided to take off her cap too, Alice was wearing a Black Tshirt and a Black Fitted jeans.

"Pia?"

When Alice called her, Pia widen her eyes and without any warning she hugs alice like there's no tomorrow.

"Thank god you finally came i really thought you changed your mind," finally Pia breaks the hug and smiles to Alice.

While Pia and Alice was engrossed to their own topic both didn't knew there was someone who is silently crying behind them.

"A-a-alice?"

Alice froze and looks behind the back of Pia to see a girl who was crying silently.

"L-lisa" Now alice was more shocked, she really didn't think about this situation, she really thought there will be no one who will recognize her but she's wrong.

Beside Lisa was Oliver who was smiling and encouraging Lisa to come near Alice, but Lisa was still processing everything, it's been 5 years for lisa,she didn't have the chance to see Alice in those years especially she has also a work.

She tried to reach out for her but she was beyond shock when there's no trace from Alice, she really thought that seeing Alice was now impossible, but look at now she was now facing her.

Out of warning Lisa hugs Alice and sobbed hardly while there was Alice who hugs back while crying too.

"I'm sorry Lisa i didn't reach out for you i was scared. I'm so sorry" Alice apologized sincerely, Lisa broke the hug and suddenly slaps Alice's shoulder.

"Ouch, why are you so strong?" Alice ask still dumbfounded about Lisa's sudden strength.

"You b***h i tried to reach on you but your just there with out knowing i'm near going crazy trying to find you" she breaths in and out and continued,

"And you have the guts to change your hair color, and your Fashion style also changed, what happened to you" she cries again and hug Alice

While the other 3 including Alice laugh at her statement.

"Well Lisa i'll explain to you everything later the important thing for now is to pay respect to Mr.Marquez and don't worry i will not leave again" Alice said while wiping Lisa's tears.
