Chapter 5

They've decided to seat on the front row and talk about the happenings in the past 5 years they were so immense in the talk that they didn't saw a couple going in to their direction.

"Pia, honey who are they?" A middle-aged women said to Pia while pointing in to three persons who were facing the front and still didn't acknowledge the new persons.

Alice who is going to ask Pia about something turns to her back and when she looks up she froze.

The couple was also looking at her with the same shock she had right now.

"M-mom,D-dad" Alice slowly gets up and slowly approach Mr.and Mrs. Marquez.

Before Alice could approach them Mae beats her into it and hugs her tightly.

"Alice,alice I-i miss you" Mae was sobbing really hard along side with his husband Lucas Marquez, also he decided to join the hug, while Pia, Lisa and lastly oliver watches them with sad smiles on their faces.

They remember before how the three of them were really close like Alice really treats them as her own parents, Alice was really loved by Dawin's Family, truth to be told, until now.

"Alice I'm sorry" finally Lucas speaks.

"No dad I already forgive you a long time ago."

Yes that was truth, after Lucas said to Alice that she needed to leave dawin as soon as possible first she was disappointed and hurt but after everything happened she suddenly realize that keeping grudges will not make any good for the future...

"Alice I'm glad your here, the last time we talk was 2 years ago and after you didn't contact us anymore i thought you hated us ."

"No dad I was just busy especially that time, my entertainment scouts me and it was also the same from my family i didn't have any contact from them for almost a year especially now that i'm more busier."

"Oh we understand but really, if you have time don't hesitate to contact on us and we'll gladly give you our time" Mae said while smiling fondly at Alice.

Time passed they were still talking and other visitors left already but the six of them is still engrossed in their conversation, while they were talking suddenly oliver's phone rung and oliver apologize to them and said he should answer the call which they agreed.

"Bro."

"Oliver are you there in the funeral?"

"Yes I'm here, why Jin?"

"Nothing i just want to inform you please don't leave yet I'm coming there oh for real I'm almost there with Dawin."

"WHAT! No Don't come here, no don't please."

"Well why would I listen to you and geez bro were here already"

"No--," but he ended the call already.

"f**k this can't be," Oliver mumbles and after that he runs and goes inside the chapel to see Alice, Lisa, Pia and Mr. And Mrs. Marquez still talking while he was approaching suddenly Alice gets up and excuse her self and goes fastly to the bathroom.

"Lisa" Oliver said while his face is showing nervousness and of course all of them noticed him and ask him.

"Are you oka--- Mae didn't finished her word when suddenly the door opens and Jin and Dawin was walking towards

At this point they were so nervous to the core because any time now alice will comes out from the bathroom.

"Why are your faces like that, are we like ghost to you?" Jin said while looking at them weirded.

While on the other hand Dawin was just staring at them and not really interested to why are they like that.

He just want to sit and not talk because he was just not in the mood to socialize with them.

Alice's POV

I'm done fixing my hair and i decided to go back already when i was just to going to open the door i stop on my tracks because i heard Some one who is talking so loud so i decided to peek on the door and,

I hurriedly closed it because there he was Dawin Marquez sitting at the front Chair while staring at nothing.

What the hell what do i do, i hurriedly open my bag and grab my phone and texted pia.

Alice typed first, "Pia help me how can I go out."

Pia replied seconds later, "Don't worry I saw you earlier bringing a mask and a black cap, wear them and go out and when dawin will see you i know he'll definetly ask us about you and i'll just tell him your no one. Is it okay?"

"Well fine that was better than nothing right, just try to distract him cause i'm going out now, you know i hate staying long at comfort rooms," Alice replied.

"Okay i'm already talking to him."

I put my phone back and wear my mask and cap. I peek again and to see dawin facing at the back still talking to Pia.

I go out slowly and still eyeing them and i really tried hard to be cautious i'm walking on the other side of the hall and luckily no one noticed me.

Time passed of being cautious finally i'm out side the chapel and decided to just go home and rest because i'm also tired and i have still a plan to make on how to face dawin...

"I f*****g hate you."

"Your useless you left me!"

"Hah! After all these years your still the same."

"You left me, you broke my heart."

"I will make you suffer Alice!"

Alice was panting very hard, turning side by side she had a nightmare again...

4 years ago when Alice was living by her own, she really faces many hardships and one of those are nightmare that Dawin was included.

At first she thought it was just because of the happenings but time passed it was no longer like that so she decided to take pills but time passed her health was also turning bad so she stop taking those and she faces insomnia, if she sleeps she gets scared because the face of dawin speaking harshful and hurtful words lingers in her mind but 1 year later she over come it so now she just sometimes had a nightmare but still it hurts alice...

"Dawin!" Alice gets up while breathing heavily she decided to drink water so she goes to the kitchen.

She's done drinking water and when she checks the clock she saw it was almost morning so she decided not to sleep anymore because if she does maybe she'll have another nightmare and of course she doens't like it...

"Hm, another day will start and i hope it'll be good..."

Third Person's POV

Another day begins for both Alice and Dawin but right now Dawin was in his office early in the morning waiting for Oliver to report to him about yesterday.

Flashback

Dawin's POV

I was staring at nothing when suddenly Pia talks to me

"Hey Bro" I look at Her confused.

"Hmm"

I was shock when suddenly she grabs my shoulder and let's me face her.

"What now Pia?"

"Well i just wanted to ask you if you already have a endorser and model for Quez Wear?"

Why are you so suddenly interested?

"Well everything's fine-- i stop when i noticed her eyes are not on me, rather she was looking at my back.

Tsk i knew it she's distracting me from someone, she's my sister I know her tactics.

"Who is your endorser by the way" she ask me and now she finally faces me.

"It's AC, well as long as i know she's famous but i don't really saw her in pictures so that's why i will be present in the contract signing and also will check if she is good for this project."

When I look at her, her mouth was wide open and looking at me with wide eyes.

She seems processing all I've said until-

"WHAT! Why did you chose her!"

But when I look on the side I saw a person wearing a black mask and black cap and he or she is wearing a black clothes.

But Pia suddenly catches my attention when,

"Well you did not saw her before so why did you chose her?"

"To answer your question it's not me who chose her but that man" I said while pointing to oliver who is now looking at us along side with Lisa, mom and dad.

"Tsk what's the big deal why are you so shock about it,it's not like it's our first time getting celebrities as our endorser"

Out of nowhere Pia slaps Oliver's shoulder who now groans in pain.

I just shrugged my shoulders and walk away from them, i'm tired and also i'll check the person who is all wearing black earlier.

When i got home i take a shower and decided to cook a dinner because i'm also hungry. When i'm done i decided to call Oliver.

"Sup bro"

"Oliver i want you to do something" i can hear on the other line some mumbling

"Okay what is it?"

"I want you to check the cctv's in the funeral hall"

"Wait, why would you want that?"

"Because the time when i was talking to Pia a saw a person wearing all black--"

"O my god"

"And after that I just want to know if it's danger?"

But i was shocked when suddenly Oliver laughs, what the hell i'm being serious here and he was just laughing?

"Okay bro i get it bye" and he hung up fastly.

What is his problem, his weird?

End of flashback

Third Person's POV

Oliver is now in his living room along side with Lisa who seems going to laugh at any minute now.

"If you want to laugh now then laugh, the hell i'm not his personal assistant i just work for his company, what would i tell him about the black person yesterday?"

"Well just call Alice."

"Fine Wait a minute."

Luckily Alice answered the call.

" Hi Oli why did you suddenly call early in the morning?"

"There is a problem bitch."

On the other hand Alice tried to process the name Oli called her.

"What the f**k, early in the morning you'll call me that how dare you, yes i was gone for 5 years but that doesn't mean you can call me b***h, i'm not b***h i'm beautiful the heck is wrong with you!"

Alice can hear Lisa and Oliver laughing on the call, but who the hell cares.

"Well Ali sorry but i need to tell you something."

"Hm what is it?"

So Oliver explains everything that dawin told him yesterday and of course Alice was nervous because it'll be a hell if Dawin will discover that it was her but of course all of it was gone because she knows Oliver will try to cover up everything but still, and of course her mind now was full of what if's and but's.

She really thought it'll be great day, but guess not....

But now back to Dawin, well he's waiting for Oliver's report about yesterday, he's not nervous or anything he just wanted to be alert if danger is near his family and of course him.

It's now lunch break but oliver is nowhere to be seen, even his call and text messages are all in vain.

He just wanted to sleep but he can, especially tomorrow will be the last day for his grandpa's funeral and he was just so stressed he decided to stand up finally on his office chair and go to a book shelf near him, he push it and it opens automatically.

When he entered he lock it directly and stare at the Pictures that was all hanging in the wall, yes dawin has a secret room in his office and only him knows, even his family doesn't have any idea of it.

"Love where are you now? It's been 5 years are you not planning on seeing me" a tear suddenly fall down in his eyes but he wipe it fastly.

The picture contains a couple who was smiling so brightly, it was him and alice when they graduated Highschool dawin was back hugging her was smiling, it was just the best day for him but now he doesn't even know any more.

"I hate you love, you hurt me but please come back i need your hug i need your kisses but why, why this happened to me?"

He was now sobbing hardly while leaning on the wall and hugging the sweater that Alice gave her for his birthday before.

"L-l-love please,please come back i miss you."

But he didn't know that soon he will see his love again.

Oliver was now walking to Dawin's office while smiling but deep inside he was nervous as f**k, yes he already planned everything but he knows when he's in front of Dawin maybe there's chance he'll pee on his pants, the hell.

When Oliver opens the door he saw dawin sitting on his office chair still signing some papers.

"Ever heard of knocking?" Dawin now spoke.

"Who cares, it's you who want something for me and of course i'm here for that."

"Now tell me."

This is it. Oliver thought.

"So when i check the cctv's everything is fine there no danger if that's what would you call it and the person who was wearing all black yesterday i found out he was just someone your grandpa has helped so of course he was there."

"He?"

Oh no...

"U-u-um yes he, haha yes he."

But dawin just raised a brow at him and smirk

"Give me his profile."

"W-what, umm sorry I did not get a copy of his profile I was just so busy and lisa was nagging at me earlier," he's lying.

"Hm okay go out"

Oliver fastly goes out and closed the door

Thank god he believes it. Or maybe not.

Dawin's POV

tsk, he's lying. As long as i know when he reports something to me he never shuttered, but why now?

I decided to go to the funeral hall and check the cctv camera's there.

I've arrived in the hall 30 minutes after, i directly go to the security room and i was greeted by a two man who bows to me.

"I want to check the cctv yesterday night."

"Oh okay sir, come here sit and i'll replay it for you" I nodded my head and sit down.

When i look on the monitor i saw a girl who entered the hall, and i widened my eyes when she hugs Lisa, and what the hell, why is Oliver smiling at Her?

I really can't see her face clearly because the camera was placed above and especially She was facing the back and it's really hard to recognize her.

"Do you have any clearer video about yesterday?"

"Sorry sir but this was the only video that we can show to you."

When i was going to get up suddenly the man speaks again.

"But don't worry sir, yesterday when i entered the hall to get something I saw a glimpse of her."

"Who is she?"

"Oh you know Her. She is AC, you know the famous celebrity right now," I widened my eyes and excused myself from there, when I arrived in the parking lot, I open the car and decided to search up for the girl named AC.

What's so special in her that everyone except me knows her.

I open the search bar and type the two letters which is AC, it shows the result and I press the photos.

Third Person's POV

Dawin can't really believe on what he saw, it's her, it's Alice the one he hate and still love at the same time.

In the picture she was smiling brightly while holding a trophy, Dawin played the video under the photo and He confirmed it was really Alice, the way she talks is still the same. Dawin admits she became more beautiful.

Dawin's POV

How dare she is, i'm here still suffering but She was there, smiling so brightly while talking to them.

I didn't notice that a tear have fall down in my eyes, but i hurriedly wipe it.

I promised my self before that to never cry at her anymore but i can't it really hurts.

Five years of finding Her but there she was, making her self famous with out even thinking about me, I thought she loves me but why does it seems so true.

She was the girl yesterday that visited Grandpa, tsk, she even have the guts to go there.

As i saw in the cctv earlier, she was talking to my family and friend like nothing happened, and that also means that my family all along knows where really she is.

I felt a pang on My chest because of it, they see me fall in to miserable agony because of Her but why does it look that they don't care?

Yes I admit I still love Her, but that doesn't mean I'll treat Her good like nothing happen.

Now i know why Oliver seems so nervous on talking to me about her, Ac, Alice Anderson.

Third Person's POV

Nervousness

That was Alice felt right now, It's already 10 am and She's now standing in front of MQ incorporation, She's here as She will sign the contract regarding onto the endorsement She'll do.

She was out from Her thought when Her manager holds Her shoulder, "don't worry everything will be fine",

But even though someone encourages Her, it's seems like everything will not turn out as what She planned.

It's been 5 years and now She knows it's the time She'll see Dawin again, but it was never been easy. You didn't saw each other for 5 years and you will just see each other again through a contract signing isn't bit off, well for Alice, no.

It's been years and there's no need to suffer more, by watching him from afar talking to people. Alice just wished sometimes that everything from the past can be changed, but She knows it's impossible.

"You've staring at nothing Alice, come on let's go. They just called me and informed me that they are waiting already. Amd for Dawin don't worry it'll turn out good"

"Yeah, yeah, i really hope too."

Alice and Cassy entered the building and was greeted by the receptionist who is obviously a fan of Alice as She was trying so hard not to squeal in front of the two girls.

"Good afternoon Mam Alice and Mam Cassy, the CEO and the director is already waiting for the both of you in the meeting room in 30th Floor."

"Thank you!" Alice and cassy rides the elevator after, and there was a silence surrounds them suddenly. Not until Alice breaks it,

"This is it, I know i can do this, right cassy?" Cassy who was taken back by Alice, smiles softly to Her, "No matter what will happen remember i'm always with your side" Alice smiled at her and Thanked Her after.

The elevator now dinged and indicates that they've arrived already in 30th floor, they step out in the elevator and walked through the empty hallway.

"Why is this floor so empty?"

"It's not empty Alice, this floor is divided in to two, so on the other side is the employees spot and on the other side is where the director and the CEO spots and including the Meeting room that was used only for important meetings with the Board of directors or Celebrities including you."

"Hm okay... Were here open the door."

Cassy opened the door and entered first, and Alice followed Her.

Alice's POV

I entered the meeting room and saw Oliver talking to a man who i sitting in the front while facing the window.

Dawin...

I know it's Him, I'm scared as He still didn't acknowledge our presence.

Third Person's POV

Dawin's assistant saw Cassy and AC entered the meeting room and instantly widen Her eyes, who wouldn't be, the famous celebrity AC is standing in front of you, But She regain Her posture and walk to Dawin who is still now talking to Oliver about something.

"Sir Dawin and Sir Oliver sorry to interrupt but Miss AC is already here."

Oliver froze and Dawin just sigh and suddenly smirk without Oliver noticing, He turned His swivel chair and Stand up.

But when He turned His gazed to AC, He froze because their eyes met.

If Oliver didn't talk, the loud thumping of heart of two specific persons will be surely heard, but oliver who sensed the tension automatically says, "Miss AC, i would like to introduce to you Dawin Marquez, the CEO of MQ incorporation."

Dawin who understood Oliver, regain His posture and looked AC whose eyes are holding so many emotions that Dawin can't define on the spot.

"Hello Miss AC nice to finally meet you." He smiled but His grip on the table is noticed by Oliver.

Alice was shock because She thought Dawin will do something because it was their first encounter in the past 5 years. But She remembered that they are still on the office and professionalism is a must.
