Chapter 11

Dawin froze, not expecting Alice to say that in front of many people, when he looked at Alice all he can see was sincerity.

"It's been long right? Well I know it is, the day we became a couple, 10 years ago."

People gasp including their family and of course Dawin who secretly gestured Alice to stop and change her wedding vows.

Unfortunately Alice ignored it and continued.

"The day I met you was funny as I really find you annoying as you always annoy me to the core that I almost punch you, not until I saw you, the real you, your personality and it amaze me on how great you are. We became friends and of course to lovers, when we became a couple I always thought I was so lucky to have you, high school, college, we we're always together, but I'm so sorry I-i left you without saying anything, I'm sorry, so so much.

Love there's always a reason but even though after all this years My love for you never fades, never, never fades as it grows more day by day, without you was my agony, leaving you is like sacrificing my soul, but now we're here on our wedding day, I'm with your side again, and I vow to never, ever leave you again, bo matter what it takes, till my last breath I will be always with you, I love you, Love, I love you Dawin, so so much."

Alice was now crying, it feels like a big burden was lifted up from her shoulders.

While Dawin, he was still frozen, unable to move, this is not part of his plan, he thought Alice was just gonna make a fake vow like him, yes, his vows are all scripted and planned all by him.

He never thought this, he never thought Alice was hurt and now he knows and he can't do anything about it anymore as it was all now in the past.

Their family and close friends was shock to the core, so now people will know what really happened to them and all of them know Alice did it with a reason. Alice is not stupid, they know it.

It was near the end when the priest finally said, "And now I announced you husband and wife, you may now kiss the bride."

Both halted as they both forgot this part but nonetheless Dawin leaned in and kiss Alice and Alice stops, her heart beat accelerating, the butterflies in her stomach came back again after all this years.

Both parted and looked at each other and Alice cried while Dawin has still his stone cold face, luckily people thought it was just Dawin trying not cry. But oh how wrong they are, as Dawin just wanted to run away, but he can't as both of then are now married.

The Reception was held in one of the most expensive Hall in Seoul, many personalities was there, also some successful business man. Even though the wedding ceremony was done, people was still wondering why Alice and Dawin didn't mention to the public their relationship 10 years ago, but shrugging them off, they decided to just enjoy the party of the newly wed couple.

Alice and Dawin is sitting at the front watching the people socialize with each other.

Alice was just sipping her wine when Dawin mumbled something to her that makes her halt.

"Why the f**k did you revealed all that s**t?!" Dawin almost whispered yelled Alice who is now stiffened.

"D-dawin I though you forgave me?" Alice ask making the last part more in to whisper.

"Huh? Forgive you? Me forgiving you, well sorry to break your bubble but never in this world I will forgive you, well I don't care anymore if people comes to know about us before, but I want you to remember that marrying me will make you regret."

Alice was now controlling her big fat tears to drop from her eyes, she stands up and excuse herself for awhile, while Dawin just smiled at the guests who seems confused.

"Don't worry guys, she just needed to go to the restroom," he said while smiling.

While Pia who was in the corner of the hall, clearly saw everything on how Dawin whispered something to Alice and Alice who became stiff.

She was mad, literally mad as she knows Dawin make a mistake again.

As a friend Pia decided to follow Alice on the comfort room.

When she opened the door Pia became worried.

Alice was just there staring at her reflection in the mirror, harshly wiping her tears who don't seems to stop flowing from her eyes.

Alice didn't notice Pia as Pia was quiet all along.

"A-all I want was the b-best for him, why does it hurt so so much," Alice talks to herself.

Pia wanted to cry, but she decided to be strong and put her hands in Alice's shoulder who was obviously shock.

"P-pia, do I really deserve this? Why does it hurt so much, why?!" Alice was now a sobbing mess while Pia was hugging her tightly, whispering sweet words to her to make Alice come down.

"None of this is your fault Alice, and I apologize on behalf of my Jerk brother who only knows to hurt people, mentally and physically. Please don't cry Alice people outside are also waiting for you."

Alice is now sniffling and looks at Pia.

"M-make u-up," she mumbled cutely that Pia pinch her cheeks while cooing at her at the same time.

"Don't cry now and don't worry I have my make up in my bag so come one little girl time to retouch."

Alice huff and rolled her eyes who is till puffy.

"I'm not a little girl."

"Looks who have just cried a moment ago."

Pia and Alice is now back from the rest room and Dawin's mother approached them.

"We're the heck are you both from, you made the guests worry especially you Alice."

"Sorry mom, just carried away."

Alice goes back to her seat, and that is beside Dawin who have just smirk at her.

"Act like your happy," he said coldly.

Alice ignored him and decided to talk to her own mother who misses her so much as they both didn't see each other for months.

After hours of party, finally it ended, well that is according to Alice and Dawin as both was tired as heck.

"Newly wedded couple, come here," Dawin's mom said, gesturing them to come near their family as it was just them who was left at the hall as the other guest had left earlier.

"So there's a new house for the both you, here's the keys and the driver is waiting for you outside and your wedding gifts are already delivered to your new house," Mrs. Marquez said happily.

"Mom there's no need for this it's useless," Dawin said frustratingly.

Mrs. Marquez gasp alongside with Mrs. Anderson.

"That is rude young man, now go before I myself will push you both to the car," Mrs. Marquez said irritated, because of Dawin.

Alice was just silent the whole time as she was tired and also she is lack of sleeping.

Dawin just ignored her all the time while walking to the car that is waiting outside.

The driver saw them and immediately open the car door and he was shocked as Dawin just entered the car without waiting for Alice.

Alice while walking was struggling on her dress that's why she walks slowly, she thought Dawin would help her but to her dismay Dawin just entered the car, unbothered.

After 30 minutes of travel, finally Dawin and Alice arrived in their new house, they we're shocked as both realized it was near on their previous apartments we're they lived.

The difference is, their new house is tight in security and it's more peaceful and the other houses are a little far from them.

Dawin just casually entered the house, while Alice thanked the driver.

When Alice entered the house, she was awe struck as she never thought this house was just so elegant, it screams elite life, it's not big as most people expected but it is spacious and the smell surrounds the house screams elegance.

When Alice reached the living room, he saw Dawin sitting on the couch, and when Dawin noticed Alice's presence, he turned around to her.

"I already chose my room."

"Huh?" Alice asks confusingly.

Dawin laughed and said, "huh? Do you really thought I'll be sleeping with you in one room, well you thought because I'm not sleeping in one room, one bed with just mere people."

To say Alice was not hurt would be an understatement.

Alice realized Dawin was just so harsh to her.

"Oh okay, I-I'll find my room upstairs, g-goodnight."

Alice turned around while wiping her tears and walked to tge stairs.

Dawin just shrugged and decided to sleep also as he was tired as heck.

Dawin occupied the master's bedroom, while Alice occupied the last room upstairs which is far from Dawin's room.

Alice entered her room and strip on her clothes, when she hung her dress she stared at it.

"How come I'm not happy wearing this wedding dress?" She mumbles.

Alice always dreamed to wear her own wedding dress as she thought it would have been one of her most happiest moment in life, but now looking at the dress in front of her, the feeling of happiness where no where to be found.

She takes a bath and change her clothes and proceeds to her bed, after staring at the ceiling for a while, she then doze of to sleep.

Morning comes and Dawin was the first one to wake up and he decided that he will come to office today as he knows staying on this house will bring no good to him.

He change his night wear to his suit and readied his things.

When he was all done he called his personal driver to fetch him.

On the other side his personal driver though Dawin will not come to the office today as he was just newly married person so maybe he will spend time with his wife but he knows Dawin so he just shrugged it off.

Dawin arrived in the office and the workers where biweldered as they also though Dawin will not be present in the company.

Oliver and Jin who is in the company was shocked to see Dawin working, they thought Dawin will spend time with his wife.

Oliver curses when he realize Dawin doesn't like Alice around him so he thought of doing one thing.

Calling Pia.

When Oliver and Pia was done talking Pia was disappointed towards Dawin's ill mannered behavior, so she told her parents about Dawin's doings.

And Mrs. Marquez being herself, decided to go to the office to talk to Dawin.

Dawin who is signing some files on his office, looked at his door shocked to see his own mother, looking at him, disappointed? Well that was Dawin thought and he was just so right.

"Dawin, I'm disappointed on you," Mrs. Marquez said and closed the door.

"You have just been married and you will just leave your wife in your house, all alone?!"

Well actually Dawin expected this s**t will happen, well he knows Oliver will eventually tell Pia but he never thought Pia will tell their mother.

Dawin just sigh and looked at his mother.

"Mom, what did you expect? I'll just stay in the house, be with her, spend all day with her? Well no, that won't ever happen."

His mother sits on the couch and glared at Dawin.

"I never raised you disrespecting girls Dawin, you go home right now or else," she said while pointing her finger towards the CEO.

"Or else what?"

"Your Dad is now the chairman, I'm telling him to change your position!"

Dawin widen his eyes and gets up from his seat. He slammed the wooden table but unfortunately his mother didn't even flinch.

"Don't you dare do that! I've been working my a*s off for many years and this is what I got?!"

Mrs. Marquez realize it but she hides her emotion quickly.

"Just please Dawin give her a chance."

"No, a-after she left me, w-why are you still taking her sides? Mom! I'm the one who was left behind I was the one who got hurted yet you'll going to do this?"

His mother just stared at him for a while before she left Dawin's office, well she's scared she will tell Dawin the whole truth.

On the other side when Alice woke up she first did her morning routine and decided to go down in the kitchen, she really thought Dawin would be downstairs but to her dismay Darwin was nowhere to be found.

She just sighed as she remember that Dawin will obviously not wait for her anytime around.

After she eat her breakfast she decided to just watch a movie in the living room as she has no schedules for today, no shoots, no programs, just in the living room while watching movie.

Time passed so quickly that it is now evening and Alice was now done eating her dinner as she thought, if she will prepare dinner for Dawin she knows he will never eat it.

Just as she was going to go upstairs the door opened revealing a tired Dawin who glanced at her.

Alice who became tensed a little bit ran upstairs.

Dawin just looked at her figure disappearing.

One month passed by quickly and unfortunately in Dawin and Alice's house it is still the same.

Dawin still didn't talk to Alice just glancing at her sometimes.

Alice on the other hand was hurt, she really thought Dawin and her will reconcile again after their marriage but she guess she was wrong all along as month passed by but still it was still the same.

It was now night time and it was raining so hard outside and Dawin was checking some files in the dining table while Alice is watching television in the living room.

While Dawin is busy signing some minor deals he suddenly heard the news in the television which caught his attention.

"Breaking news, people in Seoul are advised to stay at home this time till the next day, people who are still outside we recommend you to go home directly as fast as you can as the weather forecast stated that a severe typhoon will landfall this midnight, we suggest to pack your emergency things incase this will get worse, we want you to be ready as always be alert."

Alice who is in the living room gasp, when she was going to stand up suddenly the window opened widely because of the strong winds.

"O my god!" She shouted.

She decided to go to Dawin, but when she walked going to the kitchen, she was near in the big sliding window that she didn't notice the branch of a tree coming towards her.

"Watch out!" Dawin shouted and hurriedly grab Alice who is now shock starting at the stick which is now laying in the floor.

"Are you stupid?! What if I didn't grab you on time huh?!"

"I'm sorry I didn't notice," Alice said, still shocked.

Dawin just ignore her and goes to the window and closes it securely, alongside wit1eh the curtains, when he was all done he then locked the main door of their house.

"Grab some supplies in the storage room, I'm sure there will be electricity blackout later on," Dawin said in more commanding way.

Alice nodded and proceeds to prepare the emergency necessities.

While Dawin on the other hand did his own job and that is checking the whole house if it can withstand a typhoon, it was just Dawin and Alice staying on the house so he check it more securely and closes all the window including his and Alice's room.

They are now done on their work and now the both of them are in the living room again watching the news.

While they were watching the t.v Alice's phone suddenly rung.

She answered it.

"O my god Alice are you now with Dawin? Are you both in your house?!" Pia said on the other line.

Alice removed the phone in her ear as Pia was more like shouting that it hurted her ears.

Dawin was just busy watching the news but his ears are more focused in Alice and Pia's conversation.

"Ah yes we're both in the house, how are you are you with mom and dad?"

"Well yes luckily as they told me to stay with them. Well Alice can you pass the phone to Dawin? I just want to talk to the idiot."

Alice just smile a little and pass the phone to Dawin who is now confused.

"Pia wants to talk to you."

Dawin grab the phone and started talking.

While Alice stands up and goes to the kitchen as she was thirsty.

"What now?"

"Take care of Alice, don't be so harsh on her. And of course take care of yourself." Dawin sighed.

"Yeah, yeah whatever."

"Oh also, don't go out in the house until the news said so, be careful huh and bye!" Pia hung up the call while Dawin just rolled his eyes.

It's already midnight and the storm started to get worse, strong wind is now can be heard clearly and the noise outside was to much creepy.

The electricity has been cut off an hour ago and that what's Alice got more scared of, the generator didn't operate as it was outside and it can be dangerous amidst of the severe typhoon happening right now.

Dawin is in his room, trying to sleep if that what he called to, but the creepy noise created outside scared him a little, no it's not because it's dark, but he is scared on the outcome that will happen, as he was so sure many establishments will be damage and worsely people's death.

While he was just staring out nowhere he suddenly remembered Alice, he remembered that Alice didn't go to her room as she is clearly scared.

He was tossing in the bed many times until he finally get up.

'f**k it,' he thought.

He goes downstairs and his heart sank when he saw Alice in the corner of the living room, she was not sitting on the couch but on the corner, wrapped by a thick blanket while closing her eyes and both hands covering her ears.

"Alice?"

Alice looks up and was shocked to see Dawin looking at her concern.

Wait concern? She thought.

"Y-yes?"

"Why don't you go to your room?"

Alice immediately shales her head and continued to cover her ears.

Dawin go near her and bend down.

"Are you scared?"

Alice hesitantly nods. And Dawin sighed when an idea pop up on his mind.

"If you want let's go to my room, just stay there and if you want anything just tell me," he said coldly.

But Alice who is shocked from his suggestion can clearly sensed that Dawin is sincere on what he said.

Alice nodded and stands up.

They were near the stairs when Dawin suddenly stops that makes Alice bumped on his buff torso.

"Just go first I need to get something."

Alice just nodded and followed what he said.

When Alice entered Dawin's room, she was in awe, she can still see everything there as it was not dark cause each room has emergency light.

Everything is all organize and it smells good for her likings.

She sat on the small couch deciding to wait to Dawin.

After good 20 minutes Dawin entered the room while bringing a big basket.

When Alice looked at the thing she smiled a little.

Dawin did collect some emergency necessities downstairs.

He brings, many bottled water, snacks, flashlights, candles, batteries, whistle, medicines, first aid and many more that surely will used in times of severe typhoons.

"What are you doing there?"Dawin asks Alice.

"Oh I'm sorry," then Alice proceeds to sit on the cold floor.

"No, lay on the bed and sleep, I'll be guarding the both of us, incase something will happen."

"Thank you," Alice whispers but Dawin still heard her, but he decided to ignore it.

After a while Dawin checked Alice and realize she is now sleeping peacefully.

Dawin decided to lay on the other side of the bed and decided to watch some random movie on his iPad.

Even though he's focus on watching the movie, the noise outside the window is very disturbing from him, Dawin knows even though he is tired, he can't sleep.

It is his first time experiencing severe typhoon while staying on the new house and he can't guranteed if he and Alice are safe or not.

Unlike the apartment he owns in hera hill, he knows it's safe there when it is in times of disasters like typhoons.

But he knows his parents wouldn't just gift them a house that isn't capable of severe typhoons.

Dawin glance at Alice and sigh, he's still mad at her but that doesn't mean he'll let Alice not be safe in this time.

He may not admit it out loud but, Alice's safety is still his number one priority, even though he is still mad at her.

He check the time and it is now 2 a.m and the typhoon is still strong and for him it'll not end any moment.

The movie have just ended and Dawin was just staring at the ceiling when he didn't realize he doze off to his dreamland.
