Chapter 34

She was busy folding her clothes when someone knocked on her door.

"Alice can I come in?"

"D-dawin?"

"Yeah, can I come in?"

So why is he talking to me now? Alice thought.

"Um yeah, but I'm still packing my things though, do you need something?"

"No, I don't need anything, and continue on what you are doing," Dawin awkwardly scratches his nape.

Alice sigh and let Dawin sat on her bed, she knows this, this actually happened before, when Alice will go to her hometown, Dawin would just sit in the bed and will stare at Alice while she was busy on packing her clothes and other things.

Dawin was just really looking at Alice's action, Alice chuckled internally cause right now Dawin really looks like a child but she won't say it out loud or else.

"Alice?" Dawin says after the long 10 minutes of silence.

"Hm?"

"I know you must wondering why I ignore you, but I promise that won't happen again."

"Huh?" Alice seems not to understand his explanation.

"I can't tell you the reason but for now I apologize for that and I hope that won't happen again."

He can apologize for that but for the other things he did to me, he can't? Alice internally says.

Alice just nodded and Dawin smile sadly for that, he can't do anything for this matter.

"But Dawin."

"Yes?"

"Yes you ignore me but what was the reason for apologizing for all of this, did something happens?"

Dawin smiled and shook his head, "there's no exact reason for this but I want everything to be peaceful."

"Yeah okay I guess?" Alice laugh a little but deep inside what's happening now is confusing to her. Everything Dawin says seems so sudden and she is not used to it.

Alice went near to Dawin to get her pouch when she jolted when she felt a hand grab her and hugged her waist tightly.

"D-dawin?"

"Please for a while," he says and hug Alice's waist more tighter, "I never had the chance to do this you know? Before I can do this freely but now I can't."

"What?"

"Nothing, so please close your mouth your gaping."

Alice pouted unknowingly and Dawin chuckled.

He stands up, "wait here I'll be back."

When Dawin left suddenly Alice sat instantly in her bed, "what's happening, I'm not dreaming again, do I?"

She was about to touch her cheeks when suddenly Dawin entered the room again while smiling a little.

And that's when she noticed that Dawin was holding a travel bag.

"When I'm driving going home, I saw a grocery store and why not buy some of your favorite snacks and juice, the juices I know there will be a refrigerator there so put it inside so you can drink it cool."

Alice eyes widen and stands up immediately, Dawin gave her the bag and she instantly grab it, resulting for Dawin to chuckle at her eagerness.

"What the?! This is all my favorites!" Alice, she doesn't know what comes from her mind but she suddenly jump on Dawin and hug him tightly.

"Thank you! I will definitely eat this all when I reach Spain!"

Dawin laugh and hug Alice back.

'gosh I miss this.' both thought in their heads.

"Yeah but don't eat many in just one day, you'll get tonsillitis."

Alice nodded and she broke the hug and instantly checked the bag again.

"Alice what time where you gonna go in the airport?"

"5 a.m why?"

"Oh okay I'll drop you there, so for now I'm gonna go to my room."

"Are you sure? It's 5 a.m and you still have--

"No it's okay, really I'll drop you there."

Alice nodded and thanked Dawin, Dawin goes to his room and decided to sleep for a while as he also set his alarm up.

4.30 am.

Dawin has his eyes open already and he was done changing his clothes, it was still dark outside and Brian was still sleeping in his room.

He decided to check on Alice as he knows she is already awake now.

"Alice?" He says while knocking on her door.

The door opened revealing Alice, wearing a leather jacket and black jeans with her black boots.

"Where are you going again?" Dawin asks.

Alice rolled her eyes, "of course I need to wear this, Cassy just texted me saying there were some medias waiting in the airport and of course I should wear casual clothes."

"Okay I understand, but for now let's eat something before we go to the airport."

Alice nodded and said she will just get her phone, Dawin first went downstairs and Alice followed too after.

"Here coffee," Dawin says after giving Alice a mug of coffee.

"I know you won't eat anything at this hour so I prepared myself a toast and a tea," Dawin continued.

Alice nodded, well Dawin was absolutely right, she won't eat anything except drinking coffee at this hour, so it can help her to stay awake and eating breakfast in very early in the morning was a no, no to Alice.

But Dawin prefers to eat something than to only drink coffee cause he always get hungry if he will not eat breakfast whatever the time is.

Both talked on some random things and after they were done as they only eat in approximately 10 minutes and Alice goes back to her room to wash her teeth as same as Dawin.

Alice and Dawin are now inside Brian's room, Alice wanted to see Brian before her flight.

He was still sleeping soundly and Alice and Dawin chuckled looking at his position.

"He really loves sleeping," Dawin says while rubbing his hand on Brian's stomach.

"Yeah but when I'll come back I'll try to train him more in walking and speaking some useful words, I don't want Brian to be behind with the other kids."

"He is still one year year old though," Dawin replies.

"Going two and don't worry some basics are enough."

Alice and Dawin are now inside the car, Dawin was driving while Alice was busy texting Cassy saying to her that she is near in the airport but Cassy was not buying it.

"Why are you so serious with your phone?" Dawin asks.

"Well Cassy is not believing me that we're near at the airport, maybe if she was not on her period I know she will believe me instantly but it was her time of the month now," Alice and Dawin both chuckles.

Dawin and Alice finally arrived in the airport and the first thing they saw as Cassy, both of her hands were on her hips.

Alice laugh while Dawin chuckled and went outside the car followed by Alice.

"Oh wow, you have your husband dropping you here," Cassy says while holding chest.

Alice looked at her weirdly, "what happened to you, where is my brother by the way?"

"Your brother? I don't know him though, what's his name?" Cassy says while looking everywhere except Alice.

Alice scoffs, "so you both fight? Or you did you fight him?"

"Alice here's your things," Dawin says cutting Cassy off.

"Oh yeah Cassy let's talk about that later, let's go."

Dawin helped Alice bring her other things while guard was surrounding them mostly as there were some medias taking pictures with Alice.

And they were also surprised to see the CEO s***h her husband with her.

When they are finally inside Dawin gave Alice other things to the staff.

"Alice I'm going now, have a safe flight," Dawin says while grabbing his car Keys from his pocket.

The others goes inside the VIP lounge first.

"Yeah and be careful, and please check on Brian I'll call you when I will got there, and Brian needs to be with you at that time, I'm I understood," Alice says while the last sentence she points at Dawin.

"Yeah, of course, so I gotta go," Dawin says and when he was about to turn around.

Alice grab him and hug him suddenly.

"Yeah goodbye," Alice says while still hugging Dawin.

Dawin smiled a little and also hug Alice back.

Alice with the staffs and Cassy, arrived in Madrid Spain, they all got transfer to the hotel which they will be staying for good 1 month, Alice and Cassy's room are just next to each other.

Alice sigh tiredly when she finally plop on her fluffy bed after a long day of flight.

She still didn't contact others in Korea as she first planned is to sleep.

7.00 pm. Seoul, Korea.

Dawin was in Brian's room right now, Brian was busy playing on his toys while Dawin was typing something in his laptop.

He was busy retyping some mistakes on his file when someone knocked on the door.

"Come in."

The door opened and Dawin suddenly smiled.

"Auntie! What are you doing here?" Dawin surprisingly says.

"Alice called me before hand Dawin and ask to watch Brian as she says you go to your office in daytime," Jia says while smiling softly especially when she saw Brian looking at her.

"How's my grandson?" She says and carried Brian who giggled.

"Yeah, your right auntie thankfully Alice called you, I was supposed to tell mom but she's in abroad with Dad and they will come back here after 1 week."

"Don't worry Dawin I'm here and what are you doing? Are you working, then if it is then go to your room so you can continue it peacefully, I'll take care of Brian don't worry."

Dawin smiled and thanked her, Jia also decided she will sleep with Brian so Brian will not feel lonely.

1 week have passed and Alice was really tired, she started her drama shooting 2 days ago and from the past days, the directors decided to first do a photoshoot before they will start the drama shooting.

In those one week Dawin also calls her with Brian included, sometimes Jia was the one who video chats Alice if Dawin was still in the office.

Right now Alice is currently in her room, she was resting for a moment then her shooting will continue later onwards.

Her phone suddenly ring and when she looked at the caller I.d she instantly answered the phone.

"Hello, any updates?"

"Yeah there is, I saw the CCTVs before, luckily they still have those save on their system and actually they found him outside their orphanage, he was with no one at that time, luckily the sisters saw him and let him stay at there."

"So is he really the missing son?"

"There is a big possibility he is but I'm still trying to investigate in the park, Alice it happened 2 decades ago and the establishments is not the same as before so it's hard."

"Sir, what if we will do a DNA test?"

"Huh? A DNA? But it's impossible, we don't know we're the couple is now, but you said you have a contact with their daughter so maybe we can do that.

But that will only happen if you are here."

"Yeah your right, I guess will do this next month when I will be finally flying back there."

"Yes but for now continue and focus on your shooting in Spain."

Alice agreed and both bid goodbyes.

It's now weekend so Dawin decided to work at home cause he will spend time with Brian, Jia was in grocery store to buy something so right now Dawin and Brian is in the living room when the doorbell suddenly ring.

"So who is it now little boy?" He childishly asks to Brian.

Brian just looked at him nonchalantly, Dawin laugh and put Brian to the couch for a while.

When he opened the door, his mood suddenly turned upside down.

"What's with the face? Shock to see your beautiful younger sister is infront of you?" Pia asked sassily and before Dawin could answer, she entered inside while not forgetting to bump her shoulders to Dawin.

"What a freaking day, what's with the monkey doing here?" He whispers and laugh afterwards, imagining his sister being a monkey.

Dawin goes to the living room and sigh, Pia was now playing with Brian.

"It's supposed to be our bonding time but obviously you ruined it," Dawin sarcastically says.

Pia rolled her eyes, "I don't care, the important matter is that I'm here with Brian and of course Brian is happy cause he is with a---

"Monkey," Dawin says cutting Pia in her sentence.

"Yes monkey- wait what?!" Pia shouted.

"Did you just called me monkey?! Well, well, well, well, can you please look at the mirror and you'll find a alpaca!"

Dawin laugh and looked at Pia,"it's nothing compared to monkey!" He says and then continue on laughing.

"Dawin! You! Thanked Brian he is here or else!"

"I don't care about what you say little sister," he poked his tongue out.

Pia just rolled her eyes, tired of her older brother being childish sometimes.

"Brian, when you grow up, don't be like him okay? Cause he is a stupid brat," Pia whispers but intentionally says it louder so Dawin can hear it.

"Brian will be like me, a handsome--

"Alpaca you mean?" Pia says.

Dawin stands up from the couch and was about to throw a pillow towards Pia but,

"I'm home son!" Jia shouted while holding a bag of things she brought from the grocery store.

"Auntie let me help you," Dawin says.

"Yeah bring this in the kitchen son," Jia says while coming towards Brian.

"Hello auntie!"

"Oh pia, dear hello, it's good that your here today, I'll cook later and you should definitely try my new recipe," Jia says while clapping her hands together.

Pia laughed and nodded her head.

"Of course auntie I'll definitely stay and my mission is not yet over," she says while smirking.

"What mission?"

"Mission to annoy my idiotic brother, you know I do this everytime I'm bored and have nothing to do, so rather than staring at nowhere why not annoy some idiotic people?"

Jia laughs loudly and Brian stared at her for sometime and eventually laugh also, without even understanding anything.

New day has come and Dawin was in his office first thing in morning, Seb had called him yesterday night and informed him about something so that's why he's here.

"Sir?" Seb formally says while walking towards Dawin.

"Good morning Seb, and by the way what will you going to say today?"

"Oh about that, sir there is a company that wanted to franchise Quez wear and their are planning to open it in Gangnam, and as you may know sir, Quez wear has still hasn't open any branch in Gangnam."

Dawin nodded, "who is this company?"

"Sir it's Castro enterprises."

"Castro? Same surname as yours? Seb do you perhaps know them?"

"I don't know them sir, and also you may forgot I'm an orphan I don't have any family connections."

Dawin sighs, "sorry about that."

Seb smiles, "no worries and also they wanted to meet you this evening 7.pm supposedly it will be a dinner meeting and of course doing worry I'll come with you."

"I can see them alone so why would I worry if your not there?"

"Because I'm the best secretary."

"Huh?"

Time skip.

It is now evening and Dawin and Seb are now inside a restaurant.

"Where are they Seb?"

"I don't know, they emailed me earlier that it will be 7 pm sharp but-

"Mr. Marquez we're sorry we are late the traffic was worse than we expected," a middle aged women says while her husband was just behind her.

Both Dawin and Seb stands up immediately and bowed their heads.

"No it's okay, we just got here also," Dawin says.

Seb scoffs secretly as they arrived here 7 pm sharp but now it's 7.30 p.m and they are waiting for almost 30 minutes.

"But still, we're sorry."

Dawin just smiled and told them to sit down.

The four of them decided to order food first and eat, as they will talk about business after that all.

"Alice what happened?!" Cassy worriedly says while running towards Alice.

"I accidentally trip and scratch my knee on the road."

Cassy sigh and rubbed her forehead.

So now Alice was doing her scene, action scene to be precise but when she was about to jump, she accidentally trip on a wood now she is wounded well for her it was just a scratch but for Cassy, it was actually a deep wound.

The director announced for a break and the medic will look at Alice's wound if is it still okay for her to continue or not.

"Sir, the wound Is deep and we should let her take a rest as it was her knee and walking for her now will not be easy."

The director sigh and agreed cause he doesn't have any choice though.

"Alice please be careful next time," Cassy says to Alice as she was now sitting in a chair inside her tent.

"I'm sorry, because if me we'll cancel our today's shooting."

"No it's okay the important thing is that you'll take care of yourself and please don't do anything."

Alice nodded, after some hours, she was transported back to the hotel, with the help of Cassy.

Dawin and the others are now done eating and now it's time for business.

"So Mrs. Castro before we start everything please let me introduce myself properly, I am Dawin Marquez the CEO of MQ Incorporation and this man beside me is Seb Castro my secretary."

Mr. And Mrs. Castro both furrow their eyebrows.

"Castro? Who is your parents Seb right?"

Seb smiled a little and nodded his head.

"Yeah Seb, and about my parents, I don't know about them, I actually grew up in an orphanage."

"Huh?" Mrs. Castro is now interested.

"Okay we can talk about that later but please let's focus on our main topic, about you franchising Quez wear in Gangnam," Dawin professionally says.

He noticed the way Seb got uncomfortable so he talked instantly about business, he doesnt want Seb to be uncomfortable just because of that.

"Okay so what as I am saying, the franchise can be only possible if you have the place ready for Quez wear."

"Yeah we planned not to put it in the malls but Quez wear will be constructed just where people were usually visits."

After a while of talking, Dawin seems to be persuaded on agreeing on this new project so that's why.

"The project is set Mr. And Mrs. Castro, congratulations and also please come to my company when you are both free my people will tell you the other details for this project."
