chapter 5

|A few days later|

Hearing knocking on the door I push the covers from over my head and look up at the ceiling.

"So they don't hear the damn door". I mumble to myself getting up.

Walking out of the room I make my way downstairs.

"MOM, DAD". I yell looking in the kitchen and living room.

"They must be gone". I say to myself opening the door.

Being pushed back the door closes and Jerome turns around.

"Get out". I said mugging him as he stood there smiling.

"Stop being like that I said I was sorry a thousand times".He said and I shook my head.

"And I said go f**k yourself a thousand times as well". I said rolling my eyes at him.

"Oaklynn I'm going to tell you this one time only since you're taking me as a f*****g joke you're mines and only mines so get your s**t together". He said causing me to raise an eyebrow.

"I don't f*****g want you what do you not understand". I said and I was grabbed up by my neck.

Clawing at his hands he squeezes harder before placing his hand over my mouth and nose.

After a while he stops and catch my breath but it didn't last long before I was knocked to the ground with something dripping from my nose.

Standing up I swing popping him right in the eye and it was all downhill from there.

|15 minutes later|

Laying on the floor in pain I hear the door slam shut and I let out a breath of relief.

After lying there for a while I finally get up and make my way to my room.

Since I didn't have anything to do today I decided to call Oaklynn to see if she wanted to chill.

"Hello". She said as soon as the cal connected.

"Um yeah you trying to hang out today". I ask tossing the football I had in my hand.

"Uhh yeah sure I'll send you the address to my place". She said and I could hear her shuffling around.

"Good looks". I said before we hung up.

Standing up from the bed I grab my shoes putting them on before walking out of the room.

"You out". Dakari asked looking from the tv.

"Yeah I'll be back later". I said dapping him up before walking out of the house.

Feeling my phone vibrate I look down and see Oaklynn sent me her address. I knew exactly where it was so I didn't need directions.

|20 minutes later|

Jogging up the steps I knock on the door looking around. Hearing the door open I look back and give her a little smile.

"How you doing". I ask giving her a hug before walking in.

"I'm doing good how about you". She asked as I followed her to her room.

"I'm alright some dudes tried to press me the other day". I said laying back on her bed.

"Don't tell me you fought them". She said raising her eyebrow at me.

"What was I supposed to do". I ask with my face scrunched up.

"Oh I don't know walk away and be the bigger person". She said taking a seat beside me on the bed.

"Was you the bigger person when you beat up Tonya a couple months ago". I ask and she smacks her lips.

"Okay I give you that one". She said causing us both to laugh.

"You trying to watch money heist". She asked and I nod.

As she found the show I took off my shoes and shirt getting under her covers.

"Aht aht what you doing". She said watching me get comfortable.

"What it look like now come lay down". I said adjusting the pillow behind my head.

Getting under the cover she wraps her arms around me catching me off guard causing me to tense up but I soon start to relax. Placing my hand on her back she winces causing me to look at her with a frown.

"You good did I hurt you". I ask and she shakes her head.

"No no I'm fine". She said laying her head back on my chest.

I place my hand back on her thigh and she winces again.

"Alright sit up". I said sitting up and she does the same slowly.

"What's up with you why every time I touch you, you wincing". I ask staring at her waiting for an answer.

"You know Robinson has us doing those insane work outs at school I'm just a little sore". She said and I nod my head.

"Aw okay I just won't touch you then". I said laying back down.

"It's fine really". She said laying back on me.

"Are you sure". I ask and she nods her head so I put my hand back on her thigh.

As we were watching tv I would take glances at her here and there.

She's a cool girl and I'm really feeling her.

But the question is, is she feeling me...
