Carla Jacobs. Carla Mia Jacobs. That is me. I have to sign my name as Carla Mia Jacobs. That is who I am from this day forth. Well from before that, I just have not gotten used to my new surname yet. Not that I would not miss being a Simpson. A name given to me by my father. A man who would not be able to walk me down the aisle because of my uncle’s greed. A great man who loved his family with everything in him, was robbed of his life by his own brother.
Being married to the most caring and the most considerate man in the world is absolute bliss. When I think about my name now being Jacobs, I feel butterflies in my stomach. I do not care if Kyler and I did not have any money as long as I can spend forever with him. He makes me feel safe and secure.
