Chapter 14
The inside of the enormous warehouse looked more like a medical research lab than the storage facility it was registered to be. Part of the warehouse had been converted into an environmentally controlled unit. This contained a laboratory equipped with its own environmental controls, inside of which white suited and helmeted figures could be seen. A large air handling and sterilization unit stood to the rear. Although they had all been inoculated against the virus, they were still taking every possible precaution. The rest of the warehouse was empty, with the exception of piles of large packing crates in one corner and several vehicles. The warehouse had been fitted out just under a year ago and had been running experiments ever since.
