Chapter 2 - Introductions

(Liam POV)

We enter the territory of the Silver Moon pack when my wolf, Thor, yes, you heard right, Thor, as in god of thunder. Decided to get all hyper with excitement inside. ‘What is wrong with you, boy?’ I asked him.

‘I don’t know. I can’t keep still.’

‘Well, you are going to have to try. This meeting is important.’

‘I will try, Liam.’

We were about three miles away from the packhouse, so I opened a folder and went through the items to be discussed at the meeting. We will be spending a week here in the hopes of finalizing things.

I feel the car slow down as my Beta Dante slows down in front of a large building.

“Looks like the Alpha and his family are out to welcome us,” He says, looking out the window.

The car in front stops, and my warriors step out and surround my car as I open the door. As soon as it opens, the most delicious of smells hit me. I step out and look at the family, but my eyes are drawn to the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. As our eyes meet, Thor, through me, speaks the one word I never thought I would hear.

She spoke the word at the exact moment.

I hear a throat clear and look up to see the Alpha step down and bow. “You’re Majesty. We are honored to have you here at Silver Moon. I am Alpha James Walters.” He turns towards an older version of my mate, who bowed, “This is my mate and Luna Ruby and…” He looks at my mate, “My daughter Krystal.”

I step up and take my mate's hand as sparks flow between us, “Krystal, A beautiful name. The same as the lake near my palace and the royal pack name. I am King Alpha Liam Adams.”

“Ro…Royal?” She turns to her father and looks accusingly at him, “You told me an important Alpha was coming, Dad. Nothing about the...” She looks back at me, frowning, “king of all alphas.”

I smirk at her, “You needn’t blame your father. I asked him to keep it a secret. I wasn’t in any mood for any fanfare.” I squeezed her soft hand as I still held it and kissed it. “And it seems we are forgetting what transpired just now. I do believe our wolves proclaimed us as mates.”

I heard a gasp and looked over at her mother standing there with her mouth open in surprise, and a massive smile on her father’s face.

“Shall we go in to finish the introductions?” I ask, taking another step closer to my mate.

“Yes, Of Course, this way.” Her Father said as we walked inside the charming place.

I had not let go of her hand and walked side by side with her next to me. The feel of the sparks and her scent was making my hard-on even harder.
