Chapter 3- I can’t believe it

(Krystal POV)

Oh, my goddess, I can’t believe I gave him my virginity and we marked each other. I couldn’t seem to help it. The mate bond is just so strong, and now that we are marked, it is that much stronger, making us complete. I am mated to a King of all things. But I can now understand why Jolie and her mate marked each other so soon. The mating pull is strong. One just can’t help it.

We are now cuddled up together in bed, basking in the afterglow of our lovemaking. We have made love two more times and are now enjoying the after-effects. “You know they will be expecting us to come down to dinner,” I say as I look up at him.

Having my head on his chest is so comfortable, but I know everyone is expecting us to be downstairs soon.

“Well, then let's shower and change,” he said with a smirk.

“What do you think everyone will say?” I asked with a frown.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean, we barely met, and now we are mated to each other.”

“Of course, just my parents are different.”

“You let me handle them. You are my mate and my queen. There is nothing they can do.”

He stands up and gathers me in his arms to carry me. “I can walk, you know.” I laugh as he heads toward the bathroom.

“Oh, I am pretty sure you can’t, as I worked you pretty hard.”

He could be right, I felt pretty sore down there as it was my first time having s*x. He set me down on the edge of the tub and turned on the water, adjusting the temperature. Then he added fragrant oil and picked me up once the large tub was full, stepping into it with me in his arms and sitting down with me in front of him.

As we walked in, everyone was already there and stopped talking as soon as they noticed us. I can tell they noticed our hands clasped together.

“Good evening, everyone. I have an announcement to make. As of this afternoon, I have mated and claimed my Luna and Queen,” Liam announced, surprising me.

I didn’t think he would do this so quickly. Everyone in the room gasped, and my parents sat there in shock. “Krystal?” My mother began.

My father cleared his throat and patted my mother’s hand. “Well, then. I believe this calls for a celebration,” My father says with a smile.

For this dinner, my father gave up his usual spot at the head of the table for the King, as he is higher than my father in rank. He stood and had my mother move down to the seat that was reserved for me, so I could now sit where my mother always sat, next to her mate. Now that I was of a higher rank than my mother, I was able to sit next to my mate in the Luna seat.

It felt strange, but I guess it is something that I have to get used to. I think I am going to love being a Luna.

Three days of bliss, making love and getting to know my mate. A few hours a day, he would go and confer with my father and the others on business. I would spend that time with Jolie as we compare mating stories. She is so excited that I am mated to the King and is thrilled to be best friends with the new Queen. I laugh and keep telling her I am still me.

On the fourth day, I was feeling so happy like Liam, and I sat out back watching the warriors train. We also allowed our females to train. I have had my fair share of training and can hold my own in a fight. I couldn’t help but notice how the females would look over and smile at my mate. I mean, after all, he was gorgeous. He was every girl’s dream. I noticed how he would smile back and thought he was only being polite. Until one evening, he disappeared, and I began to have stomach cramps. Then it turned into a burning, making me double over.

I went to follow his scent, and it led me to the servants' quarters and a room I was familiar with. Her name is Lacy, and she is young and beautiful. I feel I knew what was happening. My mate has betrayed me. I slammed open the door and sure enough, there were my mate's balls deep inside Lacy as she moaned in pleasure. I growled loudly, startling both of them, and what surprised me was that Liam only looked over at me as I was holding my stomach in pain and smirked at me as he continued banging Lacy.

I was so angry that I stormed out and began to think of a way to get back at him for the pain he had caused me due to his betrayal. The only thing I can think of is that two can play at this game. I just need someone willing.

I climbed upstairs to my room and pulled out my phone. One name caught my attention. “Jon Marker,” I whispered.

I called him up and asked if he remembered me, and of course, he did. I also asked him if he would like to see me again, and, of course, he would be happy to. So, we made plans to meet in a private location, as I had told him I would like to talk to him.

I decided to dress as s*xy as I could and snuck out on my secret way out and went to meet Jon.

Once I got to the hotel, he was waiting for me in a room. I knocked on the door, and he answered, smiling at me.

“I need a huge favor from you.” I began as I walked in, and he closed the door behind me.

“What’s up, beautiful?”

I smiled and explained to him what was happening. And in the middle of explaining, I feel the pain begin all over again. I doubled over, and Jon looked at me with concern. “He is at it again, isn’t he?” He asked as I nodded.

He stands in front of me and kneels. “Would you like him to feel what you are feeling right now?”

I looked at Jon’s handsome face and smirked, “Yes. I. Would.”

With that, he grabs me and kisses me passionately as I moan in his mouth. He takes off my dress and helps me get naked, and he quickly takes off his clothes and lies me down on the bed and kisses and sucks my n*****s as I squirm under him. Then I feel his hard length at my entrance. “You sure you want to continue this?” He asks me as the pain intensifies.

I grit my teeth and say, “Yes, I do.”

Jon was good, but Liam was better at lovemaking. I don’t mean to use poor Jon, but I needed Liam to understand he can not put me through this without consequences. He pulled out and removed the condom he remembered to use, then he looked over at me as I looked at him. “I have a confession to make.” He began. “I have been wanting to do that ever since we met at that club.”

I smiled at him. “I’m just sorry I didn’t turn out to be your mate.”

“It’s ok. I want you to know that anytime your mate cheats on you, always call me. We will keep making him suffer until he gets the idea that a mate is a sacred thing and not to be betrayed.”

I kissed his cheek. “Thank you. I may have to take you up on that. I mean, we have marked each other, and it’s for life. I will pay him back anytime he tries to cause me pain.”

“And I am here for you.” Then he smiles, “I guess you can say we are friends with benefits.”

I laugh, “OK, I can accept that.”
