We had discussed with Doctor Simon and he put us on a fast track. He allowed us to get an appointment soon without having a hassle with documenting.
“Luke, we agreed on this, right? Son or not, it doesn't matter, this is just for verification, right?. You don’t have to be nervous.” Leah encouraged me and I let out a shaky breath.
“I understand. Still, this makes me anxious.” I confessed. Several things would change with the results. Said or unsaid, things would be different or so I thought.
“Luke…we can terminate this if you don’t want it,” Leah mumbled as she held my hands and I shook my head. There was no way that I was going to back away from this. I had to take this step no matter how difficult it was for me.
