When I woke up in the morning, Brandon was curled up against me and Luke’s arm draped on Brandon. I gleaned seeing that Luke already had transformed into a father-like figure.
My family felt complete.
I felt this strange peace settle in my mind. I had thought of adopting many times but didn’t ever talk to Luke because he would always divert the topic.
Now, I know why.
He was afraid that I would find out the truth while getting into the procedure. Now that we had known and decided to keep Brandon with us if there was a possibility of doing so.
That all would take some time.
I woke up and stretched my body which was sore because of sleeping in one position. I picked out my grey top and black denim jeans.
