A sudden alarm broke the peace. I looked up and Luke shut the alarm off. I sat up giving him a questioning look for putting an alarm at midnight.
“Happy first Anniversary, wifey.” He wished me and then showed me his phone where we were on the wallpaper and the date was stated as 6th of July. I was completely silent as I didn’t understand how to react to it.
“I know it’s only the second day of you being in this new relationship but I’ve been there this whole time and plan to do so forever.” He confessed, caressing my cheek.
