“Hunter!” Rick yelled from the top ridge of the vineyard then charged down toward him. The last two days had been the longest of his life, there had been brief updates from the police, but when Hunter woke this morning, the knot in his gut was tighter than ever. He freaking hoped Rick had good news because he had no idea how to deal with anything less. Rick brought himself up in front of Hunter, out of breath and Hunter’s heart responded thumping hard and steady against his chest because the man wore a grin. A wide grin.
