Chapter 23 Seetha’s white cabin on the Dirgelef felt a lot smaller with three humans around the table, but at least Kerwin and Rosa brought a little color into the space. Kerwin wore his formal burgundy and gold uniform, and Rosa looked surprisingly warm and, well, human, in similar charcoal gray attire. Seetha was grateful all over again for her mother’s frequent gifts of clothing befitting the child of diplomats after so long in her own work uniform or faded and drab home clothes.
