Chapter Nineteen Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas. Tom woke as the aircraft touched down on the runway. The pilot hit the brakes hard and Tom strained against his seat belt. Bright Nassau sunlight dazzled him as he looked out of the cabin window. The flight had been short, but Tom had taken the opportunity to nap – the previous three days had been a whirlwind of activity and preparation. He was alert and eager for action. Ignoring the seat belt sign, he freed himself, stood up, braced himself between the seats and stretched like a cat. This seemed to be a signal to the rest of the cabin. Seat belts were unfastened as passengers stood and retrieved luggage from overhead compartments. The plane was a private DEA flight from Miami. It was a Gulfstream executive jet, compact and luxurious. T
