CHAPTER 4
The Storyteller comes out of his story trance of meditation. He looks across his library and sees the detective enter the room.
Detective Alice Wakeman comes towards him to inform him that there is a new case which needs to be solved.
Detective Alice tells him that the Diamond of Saphnaroc has been stolen from the Millionaire Germaine Belloc. It was stolen from his collection. No clues were found. The skills of the Storyteller were needed.
At the home of the millionaire Belloc there are no clues to the identity of the thief. There are large paintings and portraits in the room. There are only three people who work for the millionaire, an old Butler, a young chauffeur-gardener and an elderly housemaid. The Detective interviews all three staff members but gets no motive for the
