A few weeks later, his training is complete. The angel taught him everything he needed to do in battle and all the knowledge in mana manipulation. “Your first week [is a little hard] for you, [you who only know how to take a beating] and use that as fuel for your [desire]. I congratulate you [for completing the training] that we angels knew upon our birth.” Aranx congratulated. Raven just finish his warm up when the angel congratulated him, his body rose with his muscle bulging and refined like a masterpiece. The scars on his body from the mistreatment that he experienced for ten years still remains. [c***k] [c***k] “Thanks, was my body really this light?” he ask as his body releases mist from training. The angel shake its head as an answer. “You are originally a part of me [us], but a body of a mortal have so many restrictions and limits, whilst we [us] celestial beings are the opposite. [We never go] hungry and thirsty [like mortals do] but we do have something in common.” The last part piqued Raven’s interest as the angel starts to tell him the things that the angel refuse to say in their first meeting. “Common? What is it?” he ask. “[Free will]” the angel’s ominous voice surfaced. “Free will? Do angels have freedom as well?” he continued to ask. “The Almighty [Lord of the Heavens] is a really loving and [merciful], he does not control us like minions at his disposal, he values life more than anything else, that’s we he created everything. So that this world can enjoy the life that he and all of us that serve him have.” The angel explained. They sat on a bed of rock that is formed like a bench in the middle of two large boulders. As the angel continued to praise the creator, he saw the angel smiled. The only time he saw it smile gave him a very uncomfortable feeling but this time is different, it is very warm and comfortable, like a baby embracing his mother. “But sadly some of us wanted to be the light like our [Lord] and decided to rule this world in darkness, the angels [devils those pesky fallen angels] who decided to rebel wanted to destroy what the [Almighty had created].” The angel continued. “If he is so loving then why did he not help you with the problems of this world? Why did he left you here alone for a long time?” he continued to ask. The eyes of the angel move and look towards him. “We angels volunteer to do so, he respected our decision. Serving the Almighty gives us nothing but overwhelming joy and he appreciate us in his own ways. And as for the time I spent alone in the mortal world, do not worry for our sense of time is different from mortals. You will see what I mean later.” The angel answer in a joyful voice. After a few questions, Raven wore the shirt that he is wearing when he was thrown into the lake that day. He is getting ready to get back to the surface and leave the lake. He felt the angel come closer to him so he look behind him and saw the angel on his knees holding the sword like a knight giving away his precious partner. “You [you] will continue my [our] mission [it’s time for you to take over], and put an end to the conflicts of this world as its overseer.” The angel said. “What will happen to you?” his worried voice ask. “My soul will return to the maker and be with him once again. Take this sword as the symbol of the overseer of this world, no other mortal can wield this weapon, you and only you will it recognize as its master. Beware, do not let anyone hold its hilt for if they do, there will be consequence. This sword will adjust its magical properties and will change its abilities that will fit to its master’s liking.” The angel answered and explained. Raven grab hold of the sword that the angel is passing on to him and as he took the sword by its hilt, it glowed a bright yellow light and slowly faded away. Aranx stood up and welcome Fragarach to its new master. “Thank you for this beautiful sword Aranx.” Raven thanked the angel. “This is destined to happen for you are originally a part of [us] me.” The angel reminded. Raven is surprised when the sword disappeared from his hand, he look on his left and right to find the sword. The angel explained that the sword will materialize when the user wills it, but as long as the sword notices that its presence is not really needed in any circumstance it will automatically hides itself. “I understand. I will be on my way then, thank you Aranx.” As the boy gets ready to leave the lake, the angel call out to him for the last time. “Take this seal.” Aranx handed over a seal in a form of an orb. Raven accepted the seal and as he took the seal by his hand, the orb went into his body and left a mark on his shoulder, an ancient inscription that translates to “The seal of the Future”. Raven did not get surprise when the orb entered his body. “With this, [everything you need] to know [will come in the future.] It’s all up to you now.” the angel said. “Thank you very much Aranx.” The boy left after thanking the angel for everything that it did. He wave good bye as the current lift him to the surface. Raven look back for the last time and saw the angel slowly fading away as the boy separates further and further away. With the last essence gone, the angel’s body slowly disperse. As Raven reach the surface, the angel totally vanished along with the warm aura around the lake. Slowly his body emerge from the waters of the lake, after a few days of not seeing the son, his eyes felt a slight pain at its light. He take another glance at the bottom of the lake and saw nothing but darkness, unable to see the angel from the surface, Raven bow to show respect to the whom he originated. Armed with the knowledge and ability passed down to him, he returns to the human world to fulfill his three hundred year old mission, to save the world of the mortals from the hands of the devil’s minions. “I’m back.” With a soft whisper, his gentle voice echo throughout the dense forest that surrounds the lake.
