I have found him.

“Your kitty was in the way so I move him out. Was that okay? Little boy?” a man with an arrogant voice said.

“Take the injured one and leave this to me.” Nyx said in a cold voice as he release a little of his mana aura to warn the group.

“Are they your acquaintances Nyx? They don’t look friendly though.” Raven said as he help the injured demi-human stand up.

“No my lord.” He replied immediately.

“Are you okay Sir?” Raven asked the owner of the stall that almost got wreck. “I am fine young man, thank you for saving my business.” The vendor said with a grateful bow.

“No it’s fine.” Raven bowed in reply.

[He released mana aura, so that means he is not in good terms with those guys. Nyx designated his guards to block the other side of the alley and these guys want to pass through regardless of what reason.] Raven thought as he glance at the angry Nyx.

[Hmmmm, so he released mana aura to warn us not to continue making a fuss huh?] the young man thought as he continues to walk towards Nyx.

“You don’ really hide your anger huh? Are you that pissed when I bust the ass of one of your guards?” he said in an arrogant voice.

“What do you want Kris? You really had the audacity to pick a fight with me right now?” Nyx said in a cold voice.

The young man continued to walk and stop in front of Nyx.

“It was then that I was afraid of you but now you can’t even fathom the strength I have, especially that I now have our family’s holy sword, your chances of winning is close to zero.” He said with a huge smug on his face.

[Wow! That’s some level of arrogance. I have never seen a human acting arrogantly towards a demi-human before.] Raven thought in awe. [Wat- he possesses one of the holy swords? If he is that confident in his current state then that means his holy sword is one of the strongest huh?]

The young man’s friends stood behind him with arrogant smiles on their faces.

“Don’t piss me off right now before I beat the crap out of you for disturbing my meeting with someone important.” Nyx said with a cold expression.

[Meeting with an important person huh?] the young man thought as he look around.

His eyes stumbled on Raven who is standing near the stall.

[So he is that important person huh?] he thought with a flash of smile.

Nyx saw him gazing at Raven.

[I swear I’m going to kick his ass if he decides to go after my lord. I can’t get him mixed up in my problems since they might go after him as well and I know it’s troublesome in so many ways.] Nyx told himself as he grits his teeth in annoyance.

His friends also saw Raven walking towards them.

“Isn’t he the guy that made as scene earlier?” one of them said while tilting his head.

“Yeah, from class C right? His hair stands out, quite a peculiar hair color.” Another one agreed.

“So he is the important person huh? You just experienced his mana aura’s pressure then you sucked up to him like a leech? Is the Arcan family that hungry to make connections to powerful individuals?”

He said in an arrogant voice that made Nyx even angrier.

[This bastard! How dare he-]

*FWOOOP!*

Nyx thoughts were interrupted when Kris swiftly move to strike Raven with a strong punch.

“But there are rumors about his mana aura’s pressure was a fluke and just happened by chance!” he shouted with a smile.

*Bam!*

His fist was blocked by a layer of solid earth that Raven instantly put up the moment he senses Kris is thinking of striking him.

“So he is also good at hand to hand combat- huh?”

[What was that? It didn’t feel like I hit his skin at all, it feels like I punched on a boulder instead.]

Kris and the others eyes’ widen as they saw a layer of solid earth on Raven’s arms that protected his skin.

[So this is why he is arrogant even towards a demi-human huh?] Raven thought as he grits his teeth to brace himself from the impact.

[He cast a spell that quick?] he thought as he distanced himself away from Raven.

“Oi, oi, oi! Kris is known for his raw strength! He is feared as one of the strongest human students in the academy!”

“Even other demi-humans would think twice with blocking his punch.”

“Yet that new student decided to block it with his arms.”

They told each other as they felt a strong mana aura pressure swirling around the area. Raven also felt the pressure while Kris was alerted but to his surprise Nyx was already in front of him ready to throw a punch.

“Whoa! How did he get there?!” one of Kris’ friends exclaimed in surprise.

[What the?! How did he get here so fast?!]

[How dare you throw a pathetic punch like that to him?!] “You bastard!”

Nyx shouted in anger as he buried a fist in Kris’ stomach.

*BAM!*

Kris’ flesh vibrated in the strong impact of Nyx’s punch.

“KUAAAA!” [This bastard!] Kris groans in pain as Nyx sends him rolling on the ground embracing his stomach in agony.

His friends came flocking on to him where landed.

“Hey man are you okay?” his friend said with a concerned face.

“Are you an i***t? There is no way he’s fine after taking a direct hit from Nyx, I mean, it’s Nyx man, the successor of the Arcan family, there is no way that it wouldn’t hurt!” one of his friends scolded.

“Strong my ass! Leave this place right at this moment before I turn you all into minced meat!” Nyx shouted his lungs out in anger.

He walk towards Raven who call of his spell as the solid earth turned to dust.

“Are you hurt my lord?” he asked with a concerned face.

“I- I’m fine, you should worry about him since you might have really put some strength into it and please stop calling me ‘lord’ it’s making me uncomfortable..” Raven said as he pointed at Kris at the ground.

“Rest assured I am not someone who excels at hand to hand combat.”

He reminded with a humble voice as he saw one of Kris friends approached him with an angry face.

“I said leave this place before I turn you all into minced meat.” He repeated with a cold voice at Kris’ friend.

“You f*****r! Do you know that your actions might bite you later for beating up the successor of one of the main families like yourself?!” he yelled with and angry tone.

[Look at this s**t! They attack my guards first but still have the audacity to get angry at me?] Nyx thought as he stare coldly at him.

“That’s my line you piece of s**t, you dare to attack my guards then preach me for punching the culprit who started it first? You want to die?” he replied without any restraint.

Nyx nerves are bulging in his forehead in anger. The others felt Nyx temper is reaching to its limit that they had to stop their friend from making things a lot worse.

“Hey come on man let it go.” One of them said as he grab his friend’s hand.

“No, don’t stop me! This man needs to learn a lecture.” He said while struggling to free himself from the grasp of his friend.

[I was just thinking of coming home and talk about everything over a tea but how did it end up like this?] Raven thought as he shakes his head.

“Hey listen to me you f*****r!-“

His friends keep getting in the way of his talking that he could not speak properly.

[I’m just barely holding myself back from killing this i***t because of a very important guest that we are waiting our whole lives for but they just had to show up and ruin everything!] Nyx thought as he bit his lip with his temper hanging in a thread.

*GASP!*

“HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Stop it Raul!” Kris said in a broken voice as he hold his stomach.

“But-“

“Just leave it be!”

Kris shouted to silence his friend and to keep everything from getting worse.

“Let’s go.” Kris ordered his friends to leave the area before Nyx changes his mind.

Mars and the other guards arrived at the scene just a few moments after Kris and his friends left to get him treated at a station. Mars made a hundred bows in rapid succession without rest for not being able to protect his young master.

“I am truly sorry for not being here when you got attacked young master.” He said in a sorry voice.

[If I got kicked out because of this I will personally rip those kids to shreds!] he thought as his eyes glow in anger.

The other guards were doing the same thing since they are the main guards in charge of the young master’s security.

“If master hears of this, we might get killed.”

“Why did that had to happen in a very important day.”

“How is Larry? Last time he was injured is when he purposely tried to kill a non-combatant vendor right? Now he got beat up by another successor from another family.”

“That guy just have a really bad luck, visiting the station twice in just an interval of two days.”

“Hey- you also heard it too right? Young master called that guy ‘lord’”

All of them whispered to one another as they bow down to their young master.

[Is it still okay to go to our house after this incident?] Raven though as he look at the guards busy making an apology to Nyx.

“Stop doing that it’s embarrassing, thank goodness we were not harmed.” Nyx said in a low tone.

[Seems like he calmed down a bit, his mana aura earlier is no joke even for a student. He looks like he is restraining himself from beating the crap out of those people earlier.] “Do you still want to come to my home to discuss things?” he asked in a soft tone.

Nyx turned back and flash an awkward smile.

“Of course my lo- how do I call you if you don’t want to be called ‘lord’ then?” Nyx asked with a conflicted voice.

[Look at this guy, he is struggling really hard to pick what to call me.] “Just call me Raven, that should be enough.” He said with a smile. “Then let’s go, I will guide you there.” He invited with a joyful tone.

[This is the first time that someone will be coming to our house for me. I hope mother won’t be there so that we can talk in private.] he thought as get nervous for the first time bringing home a fellow students to visit his house.

[A few hours after talking about everything in Raven’s house.]

“Young master, will everything be alright? The master might kill us for leaving your side even for just a minute.” One of his guards said as they walk inside the manor.

“Yes, yes, yes. Master can be very scary sometimes.” Another one added.

“He is scary there is no doubt about it, you might die if he learns of what happened today, all of us might.” Mars said in a cold tone.

The other guards imagine the scary face of their master killing them off one by one.

*GULP!*

“I’d rather not want it to happen.” One of them said in a nervous tone.

“Stop scaring them off Mars, what happened today can be overlooked because I have something very important to tell father that even he will put a blind eye on the incident today.” Nyx said with a cold tone.

*CREAK!*

As the guards opened the door, they are greeted by the master standing in front of it staring at them with his cold red eyes.

“Mommy!” the guard who opened the door cried immediately as he jumped away from the door in shock.

“You have arrived Nyx, we have something to talk about what happened today.” He said in a cold voice.

All the guards as well as Mars are tensed since he might have learned about what happened earlier.

“Were dead.” One of them whispered to the others.

“Before that father, I have something to tell you.” Nyx interrupted.

“Is that far more important than what happened earlier?” he said with a cold voice.

A chilling pressure surrounded the manor that made the other guards tremble in fear just by his voice alone.

Nyx nodded in reply to his father’s question.

“Very well, what is it?” his father said.

*Clears throat*

“Tell everyone in the family, I have found him.” Nyx said with a smile on his face as he stare at his father’s reaction.

His father’s eyes widen as he heard what his son had to say.
