Ivy’s POV.
I was escorted by two guards straight to my chambers. The second, a huge black wolf let out an earth-shaking growl. I had never seen a wolf of the size of what I had just witnessed. I didn’t seem to be as frightened by the wolf-like everyone else. I felt the opposite of scared and it had me thinking that Wolf had to be Ivan. I have never seen him in his wolf form but I assumed it was him since he did say he would come and get me and those that I cared about. It had to be him, although I wasn’t expecting him to show up as his wolf.
The guards stood outside of my chambers and instructed me that King Adonis said not to leave under any circumstances. Before I could protest, they practically shut the door in my face. Rude! I thought to myself.
