Under The Blood Moon

Chapter 2

“So we all have agreed that Annie here, is going to the same school as you and Eve go to” Loretta said to Evan using her hand gestures to point the direction of both Annie and Eve.

“No way, we never told you to bring her into this house, she got my room, she got my love, there is no way I am going to keep pretending to like her even at school, where I have a reputation” Eve said with rage like she was going to explode at any moment.

“And who asked for your opinion” I watched Loretta scold Eve.

“Mum, little miss Annie here will not be going to our school, I'll be homecoming queen, what will people say if they find out we're housing an Omega who hasn't found her wolf,” “worse of it all, you want me to call her my sister?”

I stood there and listened to the hurtful words that flew out of Eve's mouth. They were really harsh but then, they were the truth.

I was not complete and she was right to segregate me.

Loretta took Eve to the corner to talk to her, they weren't far away, so I could hear what they were saying.

“Eve, it would be much more easier for you the earlier you accept the fact that Annie is now part of the family”

“But mum, you barely notice me anymore,”

“I do, Annie lost her parents, the least I can do to show her more love and make her feel less q is giving her the attention of a mother

“Eve, that's enough” Evan shut Eve up and faced me “You don't have to listen to her,”

“Go to your room, don't come out till I say so”

“She is going to high school, whether you like it or not”

Eve grumpily went up the stairs and gave me an awful side eye that read as “I will make your life miserable.” I wasn't scared of Eve, I was only scared of what she would do to me.

“You should also go back in, school starts tomorrow”

“Yes mum” I went up to my room, sober.

The school was very big and I could see why having a reputation here was so important to Eve, even though she used it as an insult to me the day before.

“Remember, Annie, it is a normal school, and new things might happen and you just have to get used to it, okay?” Loretta said, making me feel a little bit comforted.

I was in the car with Evan when Eve dropped to meet a group of girls.

“Mum, what would you do to Eve if she hurts me?” I asked, almost feeling frightened again after looking at Eve's face.

“Well we just have to wait and see, Evan, do well to protect your sister, love you all so much and I will see you later, bye” She said and drove off.

“Don't worry about anything, Annie” Evan hugged by the side and walked into the school.

“I may seem evil, don't worry, I am” Eve told me with a very mischievous look, and then went off with a group of girls.

As I watched her go forward I noticed how her navy blue uniform skirt was short and the sleeve of her office shirt was folded above her elbow.

I looked at how I looked in the uniform and I felt like the principal hated me. It made me look very huge.

I was busy dozing off in the uniform terror, Evan had already gone ahead into the school.

I was looking like a lost puppy, I noticed a girl watching me from the corner, almost embarrassing myself. I watched her walk towards me and I twitched a bit.

“Hi, I am Lisa , and you are, if I may ask?" She spoke to me in a very soft tone .

“I am Annie , I am trying to find my way but it all seems to be in vain”.

“Well I am also confused but I just pick a person and follow in , but it seems like there is a much interesting thing going on at the back of the school”

“What is going on there” I asked very curious

“Well why don't we go find out” she said to me .

I found Lisa very pretty and the uniform looked good on everyone including Lisa, and then I wondered how mine looked very big.

I still think Eve traded my actual uniform for a uniform of a person that weighed a thousand pounds.

“Woohoo, yeah” The whole students kept on chanting and shouting, I could not actually get a clear view of what was going on.

Eve was very close to him and kept on chanting his name, when he came down to rest a little even told him she wanted to talk to him for a moment.

I listened to Lisa tell me the full gist about who Damian was and how he was going to get a mate during the blood moon night.

“Being the son of the Alpha made him get his wolf powers a little bit early and made him stronger too” The excitement I saw in her face made me want to listen to what she had to say.

The school principal called all of us students into the building and I heard growling before everyone went in.

I didn't quite know what Eve was talking about but she kept pointing towards my direction.

Seeing students with fangs and hairy hands made me think that I did not belong there.

Myself and Lisa were in the same class ,and so was Evan, Eve and Damian too.

“If you make it known that we are in a way related I will make sure your heartbeats father than a hummingbird flies” Eve said again but this time she stared at me with no emotions displayed on her face.

Eve walked away from me.

“Wait, you are related to Eve , no way, tell me the full gist” Lisa sounded excited.

“Since my parents died, I lived with their parents, and they think I am lame because I don't have my wolf yet” I said it like it was no secret and I felt very comfortable telling her.

“I am so sorry about your parents, but the most shocking thing is that you don't have your wolf yet that's sad”

“I know but I have learned to live with that now”

“How?” Lisa stared at me in confusion.

The bell rang and it was lunch break.

“Where is it , where is it?" I searched around the halls for the bathroom.

The figures and antiques on the walls were even freaking me out and I could no longer hold the pee again.

I entered the bathroom and I quickly used it to ease myself.

“I can't believe the principal allowed non wolves in the school” I heard Damian talk.

I then wondered what he was doing in the female's bathroom, I also heard Evan talk.

“I would not like to imagine what would happen to the non-wolves when he finds out.”

I quickly tried to run out but Damian saw me, he growled and accused me of eavesdropping.

“Annie, what are you doing in the boys bathroom?” Evan said to me.

“So you are the Annie that Eve told me about, from this angle who looks useless now?, a wolf without a pack”

I immediately recalled Eve talking to him earlier, maybe she lied about me saying I had always hated him and that without his dad he was a worthless wolf with no pack .

He said all these things to me in a very angry way, I was very confused at that point and I could not remember a time I said of anyone being useless.

“I don't know what you are talking about” I tried to explain to him

But with no hesitation he picked me up and threw me on the floor , while Evan stood there throughout the crazy scenario and did nothing.

I got bruised badly and I just wondered why all this was happening to me.
