"Bala run"her father said pulling her along, she could see wolves chasing after them at the age of five she could barely understand why they are being chased but she ran along with her father, they ran for some time and after their legs gave out they stopped. Bala could remember her father giving her something to drink and making her promise that if she woke up she should always hide and never trust anybody especially the Alpha the moonlight pack and the Count Dracula of the vampire clan. Thanks to the alarm that woke her up from her nightmare Bala's POV: I had another nightmare, as usual, it happened every night sometimes I was too scared to go to sleep but as usual, I need to drink some blood am thirsty. After a few minutes of searching, I found the effective outfit for tonight's adventure, I wore my black overall with a scarf to seal my I D, I decided to visit the bar closest to my hideout. Don't get me wrong I have been on the run for almost half of my life and used different names, I made sure not to stay at the location for more than 2yrs, and my stay here is almost over I needed to relocate but first I need to find my next victim before leaving. I stepped into the bar, nothing seems to have changed it had been about six months since I last visited this bar. Mind you I don't frequent a particular bar because I don't know where my enemy might be hiding. As usual, an unlucky guy walked up to me trying to do the obvious, I agreed took him to the corner and sunk my fangs into his neck, and drank a little when I was interrupted by a rain scent intoxicating me, I knew what this meant but when a creamy chocolate scent came in too, I knew it was trouble I had to quickly use a mental compulsion to make my victim forget while I ran as fast as I could but I could feel them running towards being a hybrid I couldn't run as fast as a vampire but I tried my best because I could sense one of them was a Vampire and the other masked his scent so I can't figure out its specie but I masked mine so how the hell did they still know my scent and follow me. But I have to hide as fast as could but I wasn't fast enough a car blocked me and when I tried jumping the car but I felt a hand cover my nose and a slumped. Liam POV: I am a 200 years old vampire and Count Dracula as my clan, and all these year's I have lived without a mate because I felt she doesn't exist of course she doesn't until I sensed her 5yrs ago but since then I lost her, she was a pro at masking her scent, I found out too that I had to share her with my werewolf best friend Noah but it didn't bother me what bothered me is that she was human. We were confused trying to solve the chess for five years but we couldn't still find the answer because why would a woman mask her scent but we decided to keep looking for her. I was happy because my lonely days were coming to an end but it touched Noah mostly because werewolves cherish mates than we do, he managed to train himself to unmask any scent, he became the primordial and the Alpha of his pack, the moonlight packs the biggest and the deadliest pack is ever known in the history of werewolves. Today we decided to hand out but didn't expect Noah to catch her scent immediately we entered the bar, he followed the scent to where he met her sucking the living daylight out of her victim but unfortunately she sensed us before we even came closer, I was happy our mate was extraordinary because we masked our scent and no one has been able to sense us unless we let them to, we had it planned out we can't lose her again I called my assistant to bring the car to the bridge while we chase her towards the edge of the bridge. She gave us a good run thought but she can't compare her strength with a 200yrs old vampire and a werewolf but as we ran towards her I took the initiative to add chloroform in a handkerchief at least to quietly take her into the car without causing a scene, though I know it won't last for long at least it would last for a while. After we entered the car I gave a closer look at our mate after removing her scarf, she looked young at least in her early twenties but she was very beautiful with her cute looking eyes she had a silver eyeball which was very rare among vampires, I loved the fact that our mate was a vampire, I had this fear that she would be a werewolf and be closer to Noah but now am happy at least I think I would have her more since we are of the same species. After a fifteen minutes drive, we dropped at a house, our house, we were told once that we would share a mate so he built a house just in case it were to be true, I carried our mate to the room and gently dropped her on the bed. I couldn't imagine what she has been through that made her hide her scent but I promise to protect her. Noah POV: Finding a Luna is important to the pack and the Alpha. To find my mate, I had to train to be a Primordial because she could mask her scent and to u, mask her scent means I have to be the strongest werewolf alive and I did it. Looking back to a few years ago when I found out I and my best friend Liam shared a mate but I didn't bother much, my main concern was to find her. I remember seeing her in a club while I was out with Liam but unluckily for us, she masked her sense and we couldn't unmask it with our current power, what amazed us was that she was probably 16 or 17, so why would a kid mask her scent and how was she able to do it. As old I am, a 200yrs werewolf I still find it difficult to mask my scent but it was piece of cake for her. When we finally sensed her after years of searching for her, but I was a bit shocked because I thought she was a human and partly a witch because of her ability to mask her scent but to my surprise, she was a vampire and a fierce one at that. I was a bit hurt though because I prayed she would be a werewolf but anyhow am still happy we found her. Being without a mate hurt me more because a vampire can cope without a mate as long as the mating process is yet to be completed but for werewolves, it's different especially primordial Alphas it almost drives us crazy that why after we brought her home I allowed Liam carry her in because if I did, my wolf would mate and Mark her immediately and I don't want to take the risk but looking at her right now I could feel my body come to life and my wolf trying to take control.
