In 1846. Robin Stoneman came into a sum of money as a result of the passing away of Barnard Stoneman, who had been a widower for two years. His blacksmith business was sold, and his estate passed to Robin. Because of this, Robin took into his employ another blacksmith to work his business at Okeworthy.
