"Goodnight sweetie, please don't worry, if anyone can get her to change her mind it's you," Auburn's mother smiles. I sure hope I can. I say goodnight to everyone, no one knows what's going on but they know something is up between Auburn and me. We'll have to tell them soon, I really want to tell Ellen, maybe I can get her to help me change her mind since they're best friends. I go upstairs to a spare bedroom, I can't sleep beside Auburn.
She'll get a fright tomorrow not seeing me beside her but I'm still a bit pissed at her even though I know it's not her fault. Things will get better tomorrow, a new day, a new start. I flop onto the bed and take off my clothes. I stare at the ceiling and think about Auburn. I wish I could sleep beside her, I just want to feel those tingles again. I miss
