A few more of the executives stood up, but Cayden kept his seat, and he made me remain seated as well. I wasn't sure what to do; I wasn't sure how to respond, if I even should. So I didn't do anything.
The board was silent as she made her demands, and not one of the reacted. These were people that had been practicing as lawyers for a very long time, and there were very little things that would make them react quickly.
