I had meant it when I told Mary that I could handle whatever Stella threw my way. And for the most part, I did. But both she and James were right when they said it would eventually take a toll on my sanity if I did nothing about it.
Stella had continued her relentless attempts to make my time at Abernathy unnecessarily difficult. She went out of her way to ensure that my efforts to fix my scheduling issues went unnoticed by IT and management.
