NINE *BREAKFAST WITH ME ANDREA*

Jasper’s POV

Today is surely going to be a bright and very good day, I thought to myself as I head for the pack house.

The early morning sun feels so good on my skin.

I am just coming back from training with the Alpha and other warriors. I never miss my training for anything in the world.

I had left the Alpha and the others behind at the training ground today. They came up with a lot of activities for today, I already have other engagements for today and I can’t afford to spend more time at the training. Obviously this is going to be one of those days where they would be at the training ground until noon.

I know that I am the strongest in the Great Crest Pack but I never flaunt that because it’s just a mere privilege.

Alpha Andrew should actually be the greatest wolf amongst us, but he grew weak by the day thinking about his daughter, Andrea. And even though I might be considered the strongest, taking on the Alpha is not a day’s job. I dread fighting him in the trainings.

Speaking of the Alpha, I have not seen Andrea for sometime now, actually I have not seen her for almost 25 hours. Strange right, but to me, that is a very long time to wait.

I checked at my time and it’s just some minutes past 7 am. Okay, I will quickly rush and freshen up at the pack house, and then go check on my baby girl.

As I entered into the pack house, I was met by Betty.

“Good morning gamma Jasper” she stopped and greeted me.

Betty is the longest saving omega here at the pack. She is quite dutiful and very diligent.

Over the years, I have come to love her. I love her like a sister. I love her even more for the bound she shares with Andrea.

“You look so happy and in full spirit today gamma. It sure would be a great day”. She said to me.

That’s just like my Betty, she has grown to be very close to me too, and she sees right through me.

Over the years, she has come to know my every moods. Actually, she knows the mood of just everyone in the palace, and that’s another reason why we have all grown to love her.

“Good morning Betty, sure it would be a great day for you too. You look fabulous today” I responded.

“Thank you gamma Jasper.”

“Is Andrea up already?”. I asked her.

She replied, “ no gamma Jasper, she is still on her bed”

“How is she, I barely saw her all through yesterday?”

“She is fine gamma Jasper and glowing as always”. Betty said.

“Hmn. Okay. I think I am craving to shoot in something into my intestines, any practical solution from you my dear Betty?” I pleaded.

“Of course gamma Jasper, I made your favorite” she responded in excitement.

That can only be Betty, she understands my language clearly and perfectly and she never disappoints. I think the loves the appreciation I always pour on her cooking.

“I can’t wait to conquer Betty, let me quickly freshen up, then I would go check on my Andrea and then I will steal into your battle field to take on some scape goats”.

Betty laughed at my narration and said “you’ve never been known to loose any battle gamma Jasper, so I fear not for your life”

“Bye Betty” I said as I ran up the staircase.

Andrea’s POV

I rolled on my bed, contemplating whether to wake up or sleep a little more. Today is going to be a very long day for me as I plan to pay Consty a visit and spend some time with my friends.

Consty is my short for Constantine, he is more like an elder brother to me, taking it upon himself to watch over me just like his father, beta Paige.

Ever since my birthday, I haven’t spent time with my friends, of course apart from seeing and playing with them at school, I haven’t made out any time to visit them, at least to show just how grateful I am for all their sacrifices for me on that day.

I know they aren’t expecting anything or any form of payback from me, but gratitude can never be out of place. That’s why I have scheduled this little get together with the three of them at Consty’s house.

The get together is scheduled for 11 am, at least that would afford each of us enough time to get prepared.

I took my iphone to check at the time, it’s almost 8 am. Wow, I thought this should be past 7 am. God, I don’t have the strength to get up, maybe I will just rest a little more.

Just then I heard a knock at the door. This came just at the right time because it gave me the strength I need to get up.

“Yeah who is that? You can come” I said getting up from the bed.

My uncle Jasper entered.

“Oh, it’s you uncle Jasper, always coming at the right time. Good morning” I said.

Uncle Jasper blushed, he always does this whenever I hit his right spot, and I know just how to do that. I think it’s as a result of intense practice over the years.

“Good morning Andrea, anything about you just have to be done right you know”. He replied.

“Glad to see you are already awake Andrea, you got any plans for today?”

“Yes uncle Jasper, I hope to go see Consty this morning, we have some kind of a get together” I said to him

“Really, that sounds like quite a great idea”. He said

“Yes uncle Jasper, I hope it is. You know, since after my birthday Uncle, I haven’t really hung out with them. So I came up with this to kind of show my appreciation”. I replied “You know they are quite amazing friends, they are the best.” I quickly added.

Uncle Jasper thought for a moment before saying “of course they are great fellows and your plan is fantastic. But would it be a trouble if I invite to come with me to the battle field to conquer some scape goats?”. He pleaded.

I laughed out loud. This my uncle is just too funny. I knew he is talking about food. Please he shouldn’t kill me with laughter.

“That wouldn’t be a problem uncle, but I am only going to fight a little battle, you know I got to save my strength for whatever battle I might encounter at Consty’s place”. I said.

“I have no objection to that madame” he said mimicking a royal maid.

“Give me some time to freshen up uncle Jasper, I will join you in the dining soon.” I said

“I am waiting Andrea” he said as he made for the door.

Okay, apart from having a get together with my friends, I am also going to be having a great breakfast with uncle Jasper this morning. This is really getting better.

I inhaled deeply as I reminisced on how delicious Betty’s food would be this morning.

Wow, it’s really going to be a lovely day for me. I have to be fast because I mustn’t be behind schedule. I want today to go just as perfect as it should be.
