6 Caius and I rushed up and down the whitewashed halls. At the next intersection we literally ran into another pair of Blue Binds. I crashed into one while Caius grabbed the upper arms of the other and tossed him into a wall. The stone crunched beneath his body and he slumped unconscious to the floor. At least, I think it was unconsciousness. Still, we had other troubles, like another pair of guards who walked out of the opposite hall. Also, I was entangled with the struggling Blue Bind. “What in the avyss?” he yelped as he tried to shove me off. My best bet for surviving was tussling with him and we rolled about the floor until Caius grabbed the back of my collar and lifted me up. He swung me over one shoulder and dashed down the hall.
