The girls were now inside their campus building and Kiera literally dragged Sara from Gary’s vision hold. She took Sara directly to class as she did not want to be low on attendance, since they had already missed so many classes. Kiera very well knew that her friend is not mentally present their at the moment, but atleast physically, yeah that she could ensure.
Sara was thinking about what Gary had said but she didn’t believe him. To be honest she sometimes thought of herself like a princess, and probably also thought that others were beneath her, especially Gary. She had that air about herself and that was the reason Gary called her so too, not to mention treat her the same. She also doubted Gary’s intentions, well for one, in the past one and a half year she was the third girl he had proposed to, while she secretly liked Pat aka Andrew Paterson.
Pat was a close friend of Sara, Kiera and Demi. Pat was from New Jersey and had opted high school in Cleveland. Well he had a girlfriend in Cleveland who he wanted to be with, so when it was time for him to be in high school, he left his folks to be with his one and only. Ha! One and only, and that i***t believes in all that s**t. Well, later he caught the love of his life making out with an asshole and broke up. He was heartbroken but after completing an Year or so in this course he couldn’t go back without a degree. He didn’t want to. He said it would be a waste of money, time and effort if he went back after investing that long. He kept himself busy in gym and sports to get over the dark patch in his life. And yes friends, what are friends for!
Talking of friends, Pat broke Sara’s trance a message from him vibrated.
Pat: So, late again, huh
Sara looked at where he was sitting and smiled. Pat knew in that instant that again something went wrong. He gave a questioning look to her, and Sara started to type.
Sara: yeah, picked up by an unknown guy, who took Gary’s name and Kiera found him cute
As soon as she pressed ‘send’ the class bell rang and the teacher left the class. Every one dispersed or started to talk to friends. Kiera went to get some water, while Pat walked up to Sara and gave her a side hug. She smiled and leaned in the comfort.
Meanwhile Gary looked from the end of the room, his clothes now fresh and changed. Bob who had entered the room with Gary saw his demeanor change. He kept a hand on Gary’s now stiff shoulder and said, “Don’t be jealous bro, they are just having a word”. Without looking away Gary said” Jealous, me, never”.
