That’s what I do!

600 Words
The ride was smooth. Sara seemed to be lost in her own thoughts, about what she should do with the situation, namely Gary. She was perturbed that every now and then things happened for her on their own accord. Well she knew the cause, but wasn’t sure how to deal with it.Meanwhile, Kiera was having a lovely time gazing at the driving man beside her. Every now and then he would smile or pick up a conversation about the weather or school schedule. So, why are you guys late, Cooper asked continuing the flow of conversation. He winked at Kiera, knowing exactly what she was doing, of course, ogling at him.Kiera wanted to do many things at that time but she spoke, “ well, your highnesses here, doesn’t like to wake up early. With that she winked right back at him. Kiera, Sara snapped, stop with your jibber jabber.Yeah! Yeah! I miss the fully paid bus ride for you, almost everyday, and now all I do is jibber jabber. I am really offended Sara, Kiera said. Looking at Cooper, Kiera bit her lip and said, well not that I am complaining about missing anything in the world if you have such a charmer beside you. She was about to say something else too, but Cooper stopped her. Well lady, he said, I wouldn’t mind the pleasant company myself, but this package needs to be dropped right here, at the college gate. Gary’s orders, he continued...and well a bro’s order needs to be met, no matter what. That’s Lesson no. One of Bro Code. Kiera was again about to say something, but...the car stopped at the college gate and both ladies’ car doors were opened by a young man about 5 feet 8 inches tall, who signaled Kiera to go inside the college, but she being the bff didn’t waver. Meanwhile Cooper slid inside the college gates after saying a hello to Gary. Sara had to intervene the matter.Sara had to intervene the Cold War between Kiera and Gary. She didn’t like the tension and finally spoke, well listen Gary, she isn’t going anywhere without me so better we do the talking with her here. He said nothing and stood there, smiling, like a rock, holding the umbrella high on the ladies while getting drenched  himself. When Sara saw how Gary was shielding them from the rain she grew angrier. In an angry tone she said, why do you have to always put me on the radar. It is really annoying being tracked by someone all the time. I am not any VIP nor are you my bodyguard, this is a bloody crime. I want  to be a normal independent person whose jobs are not always taken up miraculously by people surrounding them.By now the rain had turned Gary’s white shirt see through and without wanting Sara ogled at his physique, lost for words. The pause gave Gary a chance and he looked at Sara and said Princess, Please let’s go inside I am feeling a bit of a chill myself. I would love you to keep looking at me but we could do it in class. Sara threw her hands in the air, exasperated and embarrassed as a whisper escaped her lips - why-o-why Gary. He was quick to respond this time, well princess I want to make the world better for you. That’s what I do! Atleast that’s what I try to do.
