I could not concentrate at work that day as I had a lot of files to attend to and documents to sign, but one thing just kept coming to my mind, Selena.
I had found myself calling her phone several times already and every single time, she didn't pick up my calls. It was now plainly obvious that she was ignoring me and avoiding my calls.
It was like torture to my bones to watch as my line dropped every time I called her and got no response. It was as though a needle was pricking my heart and I wondered why she was acting that way.
"Should I just go to her office instead?" I found myself asking no one in particular as I was the only one in my office but still, I got no reply and was met with total silence.
