I wished we did not have to get home so early but at the same time, I was still glad that I was finally free from the long drama that happened between me and my scumbag of an ex, Arthur.
I managed a weak smile as I glanced at Dave. "Oh, I see, didn't know we would be home so early though," I said to Dave as I pretended to look around everywhere except his face.
