I looked over to Jade and then looked back at Aiden, not sure what to say. It shouldn’t have taken Aiden this long to heal. His body seemed as if it had healed itself already and was fine, but why wasn’t he waking up yet? I don’t want to worry Jade more than she already was.
I gently took her hand in mine. Then I said, “I think the blood needs more time to work. It's different when one of our kind goes against other immortals…especially those of the night clan…let me move Aiden to his room and let’s have him rest for a few days, and we will keep a steady flow of blood going into him…maybe I can gather some rare blood that is said to help our healing properties…”
