Chapter 004: Enter
At 8 am, after breakfast, Terry drove Sion to the terminal, which was quite far from the hotel where they were staying. He also gave Sion a suitcase of clothes and a few other items for his needs during the survival show.
"Sion, I can only take you up to here," Terry handed the suitcase to Sion. The silver-haired man nodded his head, taking the suitcase into his hands.
"Yes, thank you for helping me." Sion smiled sincerely, an expression he rarely gave off these days.
Terry smiled. "No problem. It's a pleasant transaction after all."
Terry closed his eyes as a gentle breeze caressed his face, creating a fresh atmosphere on this sunny morning. "You get the money for your mom's treatment, and I get the participants for the show. So don't worry about it too much."
As Sion's lips parted to say something, Terry instead pointed at the ivory white bus with a unique inscription on the window that was approaching them, which canceled his intention to speak. A bus that Sion was seeing for the first time. For a moment, a strange feeling returned to his heart.
'Don't let them catch you. Run, Sion.’
"Sion, why are you daydreaming?" Terry's words made Sion jolt in place. Whose voice had just whispered in his ear?
Sion turned his head, finding Terry looking at him with a puzzled look. "Are you alright?"
Sion nodded his head quickly, trying to flash a smile despite the stiff look. "Yes, of course."
"Okay," Terry frowned at Sion's slightly strange behavior. But chose not to ask. "Well, since the bus has come aboard. Have a safe journey to your destination. And remember, be a winner there, okay?"
Sion nodded his head. He gave one last handshake before leaving, then boarded the bus.
Once Sion was inside, the bus left the terminal, traveling towards the place where the show was being held. After the bus disappeared from his sight, Terry reached into his pocket, pulling out a cell phone from inside. He called the person who would help him get the code from Sion.
"Tequilla, prepare the plan. All fish that enter the net must not escape." Terry said firmly without giving any room for argument.
"Alright,"
"And make sure not to interfere, or we'll lose. Don't let your guard down and stay alert, Tequilla. Because right now, all enemies will be visible and attack simultaneously," the phone was unilaterally cut off by Terry. The man with bright brown eyes looked up at the sky and then let out a rough breath.
"I hope everything goes according to plan,"

Sion sat on the seat at the back, as it was the only empty seat. As Terry said, there were many famous people who were going to participate in the survival show on this bus. Starting with popular actors, actresses, and even models.
Sion felt inferior because he seemed to be the only ordinary person. He sat with his head down, not wanting to look at all the contemptuous eyes in his direction.
While lost in his own thoughts, someone suddenly tapped his shoulder. Sion raised his head, looking at the person who looked unfamiliar to his eyes.
"Why are you looking down like that?"
"Ah, I'm just a little sleepy," Sion said reasonably. He scratched his cheek, which did not itch.
"Oh really? I'm sorry for disturbing your rest time."
"It's okay. What's wrong?"
"I'd like to make your acquaintance," the dark-haired man with greenish hazel eyes extended his hand towards Sion. "I'm Galen. You?"
"Sion," he welcomed Galen's hand.
"Nice to meet you, Sion," Galen smiled slightly. He was wearing a black hoodie with black gloves covering his hands. So close, Sion thought.
Sion gave no meaningful reply and chose to nod in response. After that, the atmosphere between the two was awkward. Sion wanted to break the silence between the two; however, it was hindered because he heard a loud voice from the speaker near the door.
"Congratulations to the selected members. You will undergo a survival show where logic and feelings will be at stake."
Sion furrowed his brow. What did that mean? He glanced around. And everyone on this bus had the same look on their face. Looks of confusion.
"I know you must be confused by my words. But trust me, the things I tell you will come true." A chuckle sounded quite loud in the speakers. For some reason, the laughter sounded eerie.
"For starters, I'm asking you to collect any cell phones or other electronic devices in the box near the door." Sion could see the box very clearly from where he was sitting.
"Collect them all without exception, as they will be useless in this show. If anyone still refuses, then you will be punished. Electronic collection starts now!"
Sion could hear people complaining about their cell phones being confiscated. For Sion, he was unaffected because he rarely played with his cell phone, except when there was a call from his mother, who was in the sick room.
Despite the complaints, everyone on the bus began to collect their cell phones or electronic devices into a box. Once done, they sat back down neatly in their seats.
"Since it's all done, I'll give the next instructions at the place where the show is held. See you then!"
"I wonder why this show can't use electronic devices?" Galen asked.
"I don't know." Sion chose to close his eyes and try to dismiss the odd feeling in the corner of his heart.
After two full hours of driving, the bus stopped in a dense forest that was famous in the area: the Forbidden Forest.
"Please get off in an orderly manner," said the driver.
The participants got off the bus one by one. After everyone got off, the bus drove away from them.
"Where are the cameras or the crew?" Asked a purple-haired man with violet eyes. He was Rafayel, the actor who was on the rise this year.
The others also turned their heads, looking for someone other than them. However, as long as their eyes searched, there was no one there. This, of course, made the others panic.
As for Sion, his foot accidentally stepped on a rock, which made him fall into the bushes. He groaned in pain. But, behind that, he got a board that looked quite old with deep red writing like the color of his eyes.
WHOEVER ENTERS THIS FOREST WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET OUT AGAIN.
"What does that mean?"
While on the other side....
"Starting from here, the game will begin." Said the man with horrible burns on his face.
"I'm very excited too!" The girl with pink twin tail hair replied. She pointed at Sion's face on the large projector screen in front of them. "I'm targeting him, the Black Code Keeper. I'm going to get them before 'he' takes them from me!"
"Why are you so s
ure that he's the one with the black code, Sunny?"
