The story follows an ordinary girl named Lindie who grew up without her parents but she was raised by her grand parents All her life she wanted to work for a famous company called Angel Diamonds it’s a mining company and she always wanted to work there specifically because of one thing and that is a famous women called Angel Taylor this woman archived so much in a young age and Lindie always looked up to her as her role model she works hard at school to be an IT Specialist so she can work for the company one day finally her dream comes true but in an unexpected way now she woks for the company living her dream then she meets the architect of the company a guy named Jacob and she instantly likes him and he likes her back but the CEO turns out to be Jacobs Mother doesn’t like Lindie so they decide to date in secretly they got to know each other better and connected more than they ever connected to anyone in their lives at the moment they thought they were ment for each other but then later in the story I find out that Angel Taylor is Lindie'S long lost Mother so not the truth comes out and the explanation to why her and Jacob were so connected was because they were brother and sister but that's just the tip of an ice burg we also find out that the company Angel Diamonds is a front cover of whats really going on in the family the true business is drug selling so now Lindie has to adjust to the new environment which is she had to break up with Jacob and reconnect with her mother and find out the real truth on why she abandoned her as a child and the fact that her mom is a mafia boss CHAPTER ONE Lindie POV No no no no its raining how am i going to get to school in time for my graduation aghhhhh why today my phone rang it was my best friend Olivia. Lindie Hey girl Olivia hey are you here yet i don't see you Lindie no i'm still at home Olivia are you kidding me girl you're still at home its about to start get here quick Lindie it is "s**t" ill be there in a Minuit i hanged up the phone and went downstairs i packed my things and started running to go to get to school on tume my school is about 20minuts wallk but i think i can get there faster when i run was running and douging people on the was i tured around the corner and i bummpent into someeone hey she said as we both fell to the ground watch where youre going she said in a stern voice you watch where youre going i said back not looking at her but pikking up my things that fell on the ground do you know who i am she said i dont haave time for this i said out loud standing up and i looked up and she was getting into her car she had a tatoo on her neck and her hand i think they are connected but at the time i didnt think about it too much so i continuneud to run. luckily i got to school on time. I took my seat and waited to be called. I worked so hard in school to get my grades up to be perfect enough to get excepted to my dream university to finally be an IT specialist so i can work at my dream company which is Angel Diamonds. ''Lindie Matthews'' Lindie Matthews hearing my name being called out pulled me out of my toughs girl youre being called out. ohhh yeah i said standing up i went to get my certificate and shaking the teachers hand finally the graduations ended and it was the after party everyone was with their families and i was the only one alone yes i have parents but never knew them they did not raise me i was raised by my grandparents and they couldn,t make it here today so i was alone well not completely alone i got my best friend and her family we had fun and at the and of the day i went home. i got home my grandparents were not home yet so i went to take a shower and got ready for bed when i was lying on my bed i rememberd the lady i ran into earlier that tatoo looks faminlia like i saw it before i pushed thatv thought away an hour later i heard a knock on my door ''come in'' i said in a sleepy voice i was already asleep. ''Happy graduation'' my grandparents came through my door my favorite cake awwww thank you guys so much. Red velvet its my favorite cake i said it,s always been my grandma said now blow out the candles and make a wish I blew out the candles with my eyes closed so what did you wish for my grandfather said ahhh I can't tell you or it won't come true you tought me that remember I said in a laugh Okay get some sleep so that your wish will come through in the morning my grandma said I laughed grandma I'm not a child anymore you don't have to lie to me I know that won't happen I said hey never lose hope on your dreams promise me that my grandfather said with a smile yeah your right I said I'm always right he said my and my grandma started laughing hey I am he said we didn't say anything both of us said at the same time and we all laughed I love you guys I said we love you too they both said at the same time now get some rest my grandma said wait I don't get even a slice I said laughing you'll get it in the morning it's not going anywhere she said laughing and leaving the room and I went to sleep.
