Chapter 39 Miessa and I hurry onto the ship, I keep my blaster out, tucked close to my chest until I see that the ship is clear, Kathel is already in the driver’s seat, and Dita is already buckled up in the seat behind him. Miessa moves up to take the copilot’s seat. I hit a button next to the ramp, and the door lifts, locking into place with a pressurized hiss. Miessa spins in a circle in her chair. “So, this is our ship, huh?” she asks, taking in all the flashing lights on the consoles and the screens that show all sorts of data about flying this vehicle.
