Elizabeth's POV After dealing with the alphahole and his beta Elizabeth went home to take a much needed bubble bath and start packing her bag for the road ahead of her. After being turned decades ago and dealing with her psychotic maker she had made a few contacts around the world for this very reason. If she ever needed help she had it, it also helped to have eyes and ears everywhere. "You sure you want to do this?" Turning she found Domino leaning on the door frame his arms crossed over his chest and a concerned look on his face. "Don't worry I got in contact with a few friends," Lifting off the door frame he made his way into the room. "Liz," Reaching out his hand landed onto hers halting her. "You don't have to do this. They can find someone else," "Dom seriously it's okay," Patting his hand she removed hers continuing to pack her bag. "Even with him being in the area?" Flinching Elizabeth sighed straightening up and turning to her friend. "I have eyes and ears everywhere. He's not currently there and even if he was what would he do?" She had no interest in crossing paths with her maker, but she knew he wouldn't hurt her. She was is greatest creation, the only one to survive being turned by him. He had molded her into the killing machine she is today. If anything he would try to persuade her into staying with him and his manor. "Okay," He sighed. "Fine go, but you better be giving me regular updates and for gods sake girl get laid while your out there," Both of them burst into giggles Elizabeth pushed his shoulder playfully before being pulled into a hug. "Seriously be careful," "I always am," Hugging him back they stayed like that for a few mintues before she stepped out of his hold. "It's just the wastelands what could go wrong?" "Really do you remember the last time we were in the wasteland?" He quirked an eyebrow at her. "Yeah you got your ass kicked by an ogre," Grinning at him she couldn't help but laugh at his scowl. "Hey, he sucker punched me," He grumbled pouting out his lip like a child. "Sure buddy he cheated," Patting his shoulder the two shared one more hug before she zipped up her bag. Grabbing her favouite leather jacket she slipped it on zipping it up. Dressing in black jeans, her black boots, muscle shirt and her favourite leather jacket she was ready to face whatever crazy came her way. Hair braided back to she slipped her backpack on grabbed her gloves and helmet. This was it, time to head back to the wastelands. Unlike sinners bay or other places around the world the wastelands wasn't for the weak. It's a good thing Elizabeth was well acquanted with it. Domino followed her out of the apartment and down to her motorcycle. "How are you going to bring my pregnant sister to your safe house on that?" An annoyingly familiar voice rumbled behind them. Sighing Elizabeth turned to find alpha Vincent and his lacky. What was this assholes problem? He asked for her help and yet has been nothing but a pain in the ass since she agreed. "I don't plan on taking her on my motorcyle, where you born yesterday?" She knew the disrespect would irritate the alphahole and yet she couldn't help herself. "I have a car at my safehouse. I'm going to stop there first to make sure I have it ready for your sister. I'm going to leave my bike there and take my car," Crossing his arms his eyes narrowed at her. "What kind of car is it?" "Does it matter?" "My pregnant sisters going to be in it so yes it's important," He spoke through clenched teeth a vein on the side of his temple begining to throb. Why did she find it so amusing to piss him off? Normally she didn't care, if a guy was a d**k she would just ignore him. It normally didn't even faze her and yet this alpha was different. Shaking off the odd thought she slipped her gloves on. "It's a safe car she will be fine," "What is it though?" He kept pushing. "Oh my god what is it with you? Is your sister that fragile or are you just a controlling asshole?" Elizabeth snapped her eyes flashing golden as she glared at him. "I am sorry King my alpha is just very worried for his sister and nephew," Nathaniel stepped forward his hands up in surrender trying to defuse the situation. "It's a 1967 Chevy Impala. It's up to date and a very reliable and safe vehicle," Elizabeth relented giving the alphahole the information he demanded. "Oh," Vincent's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Where did you get that?" "Does it matter?" Elizabeth was done with the interrogation and had no interest in telling him about her fathers car. She had no interest in getting to know the asshole after she finished the job. He didn't need to know her story or anything at all. "I have to go," Sighing she turned going back to her back quickly getting on it. "You have my number I will call once I get there and keep you updated on everything," Not wanting to continue the conversation she turned to Domino fisting bumping him before slipping her helmet on. Her motorcycle roared to life turning she caught he alpha checking her out. Smirking she flicked the visor down the black colour hiding her face to him. Revving she chuckled watching his Bet jump out of the way before she took off without a second glance. This was her happy place, an open road just her and her motorcycle. Usually she preferred her harley but she needed something with speed so for this trip she decided to take her MTT 420-RR. Head phones in music blasting an open road ahead and her motorcycle could her day get any better? Vincen's POV "Well that went well," Domino chuckled the incubus finding Vincent's argument with King funny. "What?" Vincent snapped glaring at the incubus. "Nothing just seems you need to learn to let go of control and if you ever expect to get with my girl you got to tone down the alpha male crap," Shrugging he turned on his heels sauntering away. "How?" Nathaniel stuttered his mouth hung open in shock. "Anyone can see you got the hots for her," Domino glanced over his shoulder a mischevious smirk on his face. "I really don't like him," Vincent huffed storming away. He didn't mean to argue with her he was just worried for his sister, and for her. He still wasn't sure if she could feel the mate bond. How did he go about telling her or try to convince her to consider giving him a chance. She seemed to have an issue with Lycans, it's possible she hasn't met too many that didn't judge her for what she is. He even judged her. "Just give it time and stop being so pushy with her she's clearly dominate," Nathaniel followed him towards there car. "I'm the alpha though," He snapped climbing into the back of the car. "Home please Daniel," He nodded a there driver once Nathaniel was seated beside him. "That right there," His annoying beta pointed at him. "Yes you are an alpha, but that doesn't mean you can treat her like she's beneath you. I sensed her aura, she's strong and your not going to get anywhere with her trying to dominate her," He was probably right, but letting other take control wasn't something he was conformtable with. He has taken care of his pack and sister since he was seventeen. He's always had to make the tough decision and take control so how the heck did his beta expect him to not take control with King?
