Elizabeth King. "Dom," Crossing her arms over her chest she sauntered over to him sitting down in the chair beside him. "Liz," Domino crossed his arms mimicking her the two of them staring one another down. The tension rose thick and opressive until they both broke out into laughter. Wiping invisible tears away she grinned at her friend. "What do you need?" He didn't have to say anything she could tell he needed something. "Don't bite my head off, but we have a V.I.P client in this evening who has requested to meet the infamous King," He gestured towards her as he said King. "No," Standing up she grabbed her helmet heading to the door. "You owe me one," Halting her steps Elizabeth slowly turned around her eyes narrowed at Domino. "Seriouly?" "Yes, you owe me and I don't need some alpha making it his mission to cause problems for Devil's Paradise," "An alpha," Her eyebrows pinched together in confusion. "What kind of alpha?" "Of a pack does it matter," His eyes darted around the room avoiding looking at her. For an incubus he was a horrible liar, well he was a horrible liar when it came to her. Glaring at him she took a step forward. "What kind of alpha Dom?" She asked again. "Don't freak out," He slowly stood up approaching her. "He's a Lycan," "Oh hell no!" Elizabeth spun on her heels swinging the door open. "Liz please!" Dom pleaded following after her. "I don't need some alphahole causing problems and you don't need that either. It's just a meeting no pressure," Darting around her he held his arms out in an attempt to block her path. "Liz I need your help here," Sighing Elizabeth stared at her annoying friend. He's lucky she loved him or he would have been thrown thrown through the wall. "Five minutes," "How about fifteen minutes?" He countered. "How about I say f**k it and I go home?" "Ten minutes?" Holding his hands in a pray his bottom lip jutted out as he batted his eyelashes at her. "Ugh fine ten minutes," She relented making her annoying friend and boss squeal pulling her into a big bear hug. "That's why you are my favourite," He grinned looping his arm with hers. "Let's head on up and meet this alphahole," Stepping into the VIP area Elizabeth scanned the familiar room. This wasn't the first time she had been in here. The nights she wasn't fighting and wanted to spend time with Domino they would hang up there when it wasn't being used. "Hello gentleman I'm the owner of Devil's Paradise," "Of course it's an honor to meet you Mr. Cree," The smaller man smiled stepping forward. "I am Nathaniel and this is my alpha Vincent," He introduced gesturing over to the stoic looking man just behind him. Both men where equally handsome, but Elizabeth couldn't help but admire the alpha a little more. He was taller with broader shoulders, his shirt straining against his muscular frame and those stunning eyes that seemed to be locked on her. He was gorgeous all right, but a gorgeous face would trick Elizabeth into letting her gaurd down. All lycans where the same, especially the alphas. "You may call me Domino," Domino smiled. "And this is King," Turning he gestured with his free hand at Elizabeth. She watched the two men stare at her like she was some zoo animal. A freak to gawk at. Stealing her emotions her face a mask of indifference not allowing anything to slip. "Yes please come sit," Nathaniel smiled kindly at her leading them over to the table. "You had requested this meeting with King, what is it about?" Domino pulled out Elizabeth's seat before sitting in his own. "That's none of your business," Vincent's gruff voice spoke up everyones attention snapping to him. "We just wanted to speak with King, you don't have to stay," He added sitting down in the seat across from Elizabeth. "He goes I go," Elizabeth warned crossing her arms over her chest. "Fine," His jaw clenching, the alphahole clearly irritated she wasn't letting him walk all over them. "Why am I here?" Elizabeth asked ignoring the alphas annoyance. "Is King really your first name?" Vincent counter. "No," "What is your first name?" "None of your business," Elizabeth snapped glaring at the demanding alphahole. "Either tell me what you really want or we leave I don't have all night gentleman," "We need your expertise," Nathaniel piped up. "One or our own was taken from us, but we cannot go into there territory to rescue them," "Where are they being held?" "The shadow coven," "Gentleman I am sorry, but we cannot be of any help to you," Domino piped up. Standing up he gently squeazed Elizabeth's shoulder signaling her to follow him. "Wait!" Vincent shot to his feat a look of panic written on his face. "Please. We need your help," He pleaded. Tilting her head she watched the alpha in amusement. This was a first, she had never seen an alpha especially a lycan alpha plead before. Maybe he wasn't a complete alphahole afterall. "I might. If you tell us the truth," "We did," Nathaniel tried to reassure but the little twitch in his hand was giving him away. They weren't being honest, not completely anyway. "Good bye gentleman," Turning Elizabeth and Domino headed towards the door. "Okay!" Vincent relented. "They have my sister, she's six months pregnant," Turning she looked him over seeing he was being geniune. "I didn't think there were any female lycans?" "That's not completely true now is it?" Vincent raised an eyebrow at her. He was egging her on. Most didn't know what Elizabeth was, just that she was some sort of hybrid. The alpha was either very perceptive or has information on her. "Is she a lycan then?" Elizabeth countered. "Yes and no," He gestured to there seats sitting back down in his. "Females can be born, and technically they are lycans but they cannot shift or possess the advantages of lycans. They merely hold the DNA. You see our numbers have been dwindling in the last few years, not as many lycans finding there mates and produces more children. My sister did find her mate and was lucky enough to get pregnant. She's carrrying a son. While traveling from another pack they were attacked. Her mate was killed and she was taken," "Why would they take her. What use would witches have with a pregnant lycan?" Domino asked confusion written all over his face. "I believe it is because Vincent turned down the daughter of the Coven leader," Vincent growled at Nathaniel. Clearly he didn't want them to know this little tidbit, insteresting. "Why would the leader of the coven want a lycan to betroth her daughter? Hybrid's are looked down upon why would she want that?" "We believe they didn't actually want the union they just used it as a disguise to get close to Vincent," Nathaniell answered his alpha glaring at him. "Why?" "Does it matter?" Vincent snapped clearly not liking the direction of the conversation. "Yes it does," Elizabeth stared him down unaffected by his alpha aura that was slowly trickling out of him. "We think they need our blood," Vincent blurted out. "They have been warring with the vampires, but even with there powers they are no match for the bloodsuckers," Elizabeth glared at Vincent when he said bloodsuckers. Just when she started to think he wasn't so bad he had to go and open his mouth and ruin it. Freaking alphas, there all the same. Shaking her head at the alhpahole she turned glancing at Domino, both of them sharing a look. Since Domino took her in they had developed a sort of telepathy just one look and they knew what the other was thinking. Domino nodded his head slightly, with a sigh she turned to the two men. "Fine," She really wanted to tell them to stick it were the sun don't shine, but she knew deep down there was no way she could walk away knowing a defenceless pregnant woman needed help and she might be the only one who could help.
