Vera’s POV
Ava’s face showed fierce determination, even though she tried to hide it, it made me feel uncomfortable.
"Director Ava, there are various paths, and not everyone chooses the easy way out. I prefer to live with a straight back and do my work with honesty, let my work speak for me."
It's ridiculous for someone who is not clean themselves to think that everyone around them is dirty. Ava knew what she was insinuating, and her expression became even more unpleasant. She held back the impulse to hit me and squeezed out a few words from between her teeth.
"Then I hope psychologist Samantha can always be like this."
I nodded without saying anything more and quickly left the hospital. Since they had already revealed their real colors, there was no need to hide anything anymore.
