That evening, after leaving Greta's room, and after reciting the vespers prayers, Sr Felicità asked to speak with the Mother Superior: she needed to see the papers of the girl they had let in the convent four days before. The Mother superior did not ask any question, and she did not give any explanation for her bizarre request, but she got the answer she was looking for.
