“Where are we going?” I asked Jace when he carried me away from the barn, away from Brigits and Jenna.
“To a room where I could finally take off that choker. Lucas instructed me to put you there and heal.”
“Why is that? What’s his deal?”
“He’ll take you tomorrow night to where Levi is. He’ll take you to boast every vampire that will be inside that castle. And also he thinks you’ll make Levi back to health again.”
My ears perk at what he said.
“Finally,” I replied, not minding my aching body.
“I’ll bring you inside the silver room and take your choker off. Shift and let your wolf heals you. After that you must shift into human again and wear the choker back. And also I want you to behave with Lucas. This will make him trust you until he’ll make you in charge
